The room was big and clean
The place for breakfast is too small and crowded
Ruime kamer
Kamer was laat gereed (18.00 uur) maar werd ruimschoots goed gemaakt.
Unfriendly staff, handicap rooms sub par. Breakfast is a nightmare.
Room cleaned once in 4 days and didn't remove trash or restock supplies even once.
Nothing at all
They did not have the room I reserved available to my family. The staff was horrible and degrading. They had the poorest attitudes and talked down to me as though I were trash and then told me to either take the room they had for me or leave. The shower head had green scum on it. The sink wouldn’t drain. The “Mountain View” was trees and cars. I reserved a king bed and was put in a full-size bed. My husband is 6’2 and 250 pounds and we had to sleep in a full-size bed together.
Location
This was the perfect space to relax after a long day of work! It was so cozy with lots of space to spread out and sit.
Nice and clean hotel with excellent parking. Very good breakfast and within walking distance to several eating places.
Good Location. Breakfast is good. Comfy bed
The carpet looks old.
July 3rd - July 5th
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hyatt Place Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
The room was poorly maintained. The bathroom was dirty, with mildew or mold in the grout, what appeared to be fecal matter around the base of the toilet, and peeling paint on the ceiling. The bathroom itself was also uncomfortably small.
The room amenities were equally disappointing. The air conditioner was very loud and struggled to keep the room cool. The refrigerator wasn’t cold, and the temperature control knob was broken, making it impossible to adjust.
One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of honesty from the front desk. We were told the third and fourth floors were pet-free, yet there were dogs barking on the fourth floor throughout our stay, and we saw multiple dogs in the hallway. After the first night, we requested to move to a different room but were told the hotel was completely booked. However, online availability showed rooms could still be reserved that same night, making that explanation difficult to believe.
Breakfast was mediocre at best and did little to improve the overall experience.
Overall, this hotel fell far below the standards I expect from a Hyatt property. Between the cleanliness issues, poor maintenance, misleading information from staff, and lack of customer service, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
Staff was friendly.
Soap bottles were disgusting. Have not been cleaned underneath
Near Garden of God and good breakfast!
It wasn’t what I expected from the pictures on Booking.com. There really is not a restaurant or a bar. They just have that set up in the same area where they serve breakfast and the couple women behind the desk that check you in are the ones that go back and make you a drink or cook you something so it’s by no means a restaurant also the air-conditioning had movement sensors on them in the room and so the air-conditioning would shut off all night while we slept and it would get really hot and it would shut off during the day while we were sightseeing. The location was pretty good for Garden Of The Gods but Uber wise it was about $20 each way to Garden Of The Gods, $35 each way going to Manitou Springs and about 25 each way to go to Old Colorado. It was about a half hour from the Colorado Springs airport, which was $35 Uber ride. Of course it also depends on the time of day. Another thing about the “restaurant l” is they actually name it, which is ridiculous since it’s not really a restaurant.
The movement sensors on the air-conditioning that made us sweat all night and would also turn off when we were gone during the day so we came back to a warm room every day. The fact that there wasn’t a restaurant when we thought there would be one. The seats in the breakfast area and all the tables were filthy even an hour after breakfast.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff was accommodating.
Nothing.
Booked it on Booking.com thinking that it had a restaurant at a bar, which is what it looks like, but it really doesn’t. In the same small breakfast area that there’s a free breakfast available They say that’s a restaurant when you’re actually here but it’s the people who check you in that go in the back and cook you whatever you ordered which we did not bother doing. And that same area is a little bar but again it’s just in the area people eat their free breakfast. They only do servicing every other day and they only do the trash the towels and refill the coffee so our tiny two trash cans were overflowing. The air-conditioning is set to go off if you’re not moving around the room so the room heats up during the day. Mountain View room does have a nice view. there is a very small outdoor pool which we did not use. The location was about a half hour from the airport, which was around a $55 Uber. It was about a half hour from Manitou Springs, which was about a $38 Uber ride. It was about 20 minutes from old Colorado, which was about a $28 Uber ride.
