According to Colombian tax laws, foreign visitors and Colombian citizens residing abroad are exempt from the 19% VAT upon receiving entry stamp to Colombia which confirms your stay in the country for up to ninety (90) calendar days and has the PT stamp or the current temporary visa type "V". This exemption applies for accommodations only, does not include other services and the invoice is generated in the name of the passport and reservation holder.
The permit must be presented upon arrival where the original passport must be provided and a copy of the data sheet and the stamp sheet will be taken. Guests are reminded to request a stamp from immigration upon arrival even if they enter through biometrics.
Airport transfer service is available upon request.
For reservations of three or more rooms, additional policies and charges will apply.
To ensure the safety and quality of the experience for all guests, visitors must register during the check-in process.
If the visitors are not present during check-in, their personal information must be provided for pre-registration. Failure to register this information on time will result in a nonrefundable charge.
In compliance with Colombian Law 2068 of 2020, visitors may only register with official identification: ID card for Colombian nationals and passport for foreign visitors. Each visitor must sign the hotel registration form. It is important to inform the reception when a visitor leaves the hotel; otherwise, the charge for their stay will be applied for the remaining nights, and refunds will not be processed.
Additional unregistered guests will incur an additional charge of USD 99. This value must be paid before accessing the room and is charged per person, per day.
Guests must present a valid ID and credit card upon check-in.
If a credit card is not available, a cash deposit of USD 300 per night or USD 100 will be required.
Cash deposits will be returned upon check-out.
Please note that extra beds, sofa beds, and cribs are available upon request and subject to availability.In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

Ze zijn bij de receptie niet eerlijk en laten je extra betalen voor hetgeen je bij booking.com hebt geboekt. Voor aankomst wordt de 1e nacht ingehouden van je creditcard en bij aankomst blijken er ineens andere prijzen gehanteerd te worden die buiten de korting vanuit Booking.com te niet worden gedaan. Tip: betaal vooraf en niet als je daar aankomt.

El horario de cierre de la piscina. Muy temprano a las 20:00 horas, debido a que el clima amerita un cierre más tarde.

The hotel and facilities are nice, breakfast was great and the location is perfect if you like walking to places.
The rooms are big and the beds very comfortable.
Your day can be going great until you arrive at reception to do the check in and are greeted by senior member of the staff that was maybe having a bad day but with her unfriendliness and sort of discrimination attitude towards me, it just make you feel unwelcome for the duration of the stay.
I could tell she had been there for years, as all the younger ladies at the reception were directing all the questions to her and she didn't hold back on showing who is boss.
This is not my first time at this Dann Carlton but for sure my last.
Breakfast was very good.

Not a 5-star hotel, for sure. It wasn't very clean; I found some hair from the previous guests. The sink was partially clogged.
