Affected by exterior renovations, but overall a great hotel!
Pros:

The staff were excellent — very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. The location was great, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a fantastic selection of food. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the Katsu Chicken was delicious! The gentleman who served us was particularly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Cons:

The breakfast was quite expensive, and the room rates were very high for a four-star hotel. The hotel is currently undergoing exterior renovations, with construction work starting at 8 a.m., which makes the whole property feel like a building site. Also, only one of the main lifts was working. Although there was another lift available as a backup, it wasn't enough to cope with the number of guests. Overall, it's a great hotel, and I would definitely stay again once the renovations are completed.

Cold, wet and forgettable
Pros:

We didn’t have breakfast however we do eat at the Leo restaurant which was over priced for what we had.

Cons:

Very basic, steak was tiny and the reception failed to provide a 10% off voucher when we booked. Very disappointed.

Pros:

The location is very nice! Behind the hotel is the Royal Mile and just infront is the train station!
The staff is accommodating and friendly. The room is adequate and enough with complete complimentary food and coffee

Would definitely stay again and already recommended to freinds and family
Pros:

Everything clean, friendly, nice food and room. The lady on reception who checked us in and out was so welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

Staff all lovely apart from a very moody breakfast waitress. Who was having some kind of tantrum and slamming everything down when laying the tables and been very unapproachable and unhelpful.
