Service was great staff was excellent.
The bar was open all day and until 4am.
The rooms & bathrooms were so small. The beds were small and uncomfortable. Room was very hot. Only an "air cooler" no AC. We had to ask for an extra portable fan. The hotel was way too expensive for the quality.

The location was very good, and the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. The bathroom was also good and well maintained
There were quite a few things we were disappointed with. The sofa bed was very poor quality and really not comfortable enough to sleep on. The curtains had several holes in them, and overall the room felt very worn out and quite old. It wasn't really a room where we felt like spending much time.
We had also paid extra to upgrade to a premium room specifically for the view, but unfortunately the view was partially blocked and didn't feel worth the additional cost.
Overall, the room definitely needs refurbishment and better maintenance, especially considering the premium room price

Fabulous location and really lovely staff.
It was undeniably expensive but no more so (in fact less so) than every other hotel in the centre of Edinburgh during The Fringe.
