This motel is within walking distance to everything! There’s a free shuttle right across the street to take you up to the incline or cog railway. Comfortable beds, quiet and spacious rooms and great hot showers!! Super friendly staff!
Location was good compared to downtown and nearby places we wanted to visit. Provided Breakfast was simple but good.
Our room's door had a bit of a gap on the frame, so much so that sunlight came through it. The bed was okay. My wife had some discomfort with the sheets like the detergent wasn't agreeing with her skin. The sheets felt a little coarse. The bathtub seemed like it might need a good cleaning as the base was pretty dirty upon arrival.
Jason in the front office was amazing.
It is a little old but you can see they are trying to keep it up. It is about the same age as other businesses in the area.
Room was big. Bed was comfortable. Our room and the entire property was very clean. Great location. You walked across the street to catch the 33 bus into town and the cog train. Bus dropped you off in front of the hotel. Runs every 20 to 30 minutes.
Wish they would have had a nicer breakfast with a breakfast room. Continental breakfast only- grab and go. There were a few tables outside.

The manager was so very nice and friendly. The property is conveniently located and easy to get in and out in such a busy tourist spot. Property is many years old but very well cared for. I’m a retired property manager and property inspector and I know a well cared for property when I see one and this is one of the best owner/management teams that operate this motel. It’s refreshing to see people that take pride in their property. I would recommend this motel to anyone who just needs a place for a night.
It doesn’t have an elevator and it’s two stories high. It’s a small property so there isn’t a big area for breakfast.
The building and grounds are kept in excellent condition.
Peacefulness at night no slamming doors ,loud music ,walking distance to all the shops.
