Railway Square Central Location
Pros:

The location for public transport as I usually hire a car, but it was close to the buses, light rail and trains and thus to the airport but train. I liked the Eve's Bar downstairs and the swimming pool upstairs. I liked the viee from our window and the beds were comfy. We liked the coloured lights that could change colour, but weren't too dim, so my daughter could sleep after her exams. I liked the chair by the window with stool as well as the desk and used the suitcase support found in wardrobe. There was ample hanging space for two. You could also access a taxi or car service which I felt could be handy if gping out at night to the opera. It was around the corner from Spice Alley and a short walk to Chinatown or Paddy's Market.

Cons:

I felt abit ripped off that there were no biscuits in packet or mints or chocolates were supplied with the coffee and tea sachets, as that is the norm in all the motels (bar one other) that I have stayed in over 50 years. I felt that the surfaces were abit dusty, but that could be what accumulates in an afternoon of city smog. I felt that being the Mercure you expect a higher level of inclusions e.g. extra sanitary bag, 2 shower caps not one, as we booked for 2 separate people in 2 separate beds, makeup remover towels etc.
