Character was great, sea view and location. Good breakfast
No air con
Classic British seafront hotel, gorgeous
It's cheap ish and cheerful ish. It's safe and warm and dry.
By the sea and ten minute walk into town. Bed old and small but room was quiet.
It's just really old and tired, but the staff are great and I had a good sleep.
The location is good, situated on the quieter part of the area, near the beach and has a lot of green space.
The shower pressure is weak, the drain clogs easily. The sheets when we arrived has stains. No electric outlet near the bed and is not even working, same as the other lights. WIFI is very slow, 5G is better.
Convenient, quiet, on the sea front, comfortable room, clean bathroom.
Was a bit hot in the room but is it summer
The sea/Thames estuary view
There was no filter coffee at breakfast, just a bowl of instant coffee granules. Not what I expect from a reasonably priced hotel
Breakfast was nice, good selection of food and drinks.
No snacks available in the hotel only proper sit down food, room was really tatty...........REALLY tatty, couldn't put the shower head on holder to shower as it was broken, shower screen too short and bath Extremely slippery! electric fan barely wafted air and all 3 settings were the same so clearly not working properly.....but the very worst thing was the window. no curtain, just a poorly fitting old and tatty blind which didnt shut out light, super high window was wide open on arrival but blind was fully up so room roasting as its south facing. all the seal on the window was hanging off which wasnt an issue until 1am when there was a massive storm. blind was whipping around outside and rain was soaking me in bed, i had to climb from the bed to the wet slippery windowsill and climb half out the window to close it. as there was no seal the window didnt shut fully and the closing mechanism at the side was broken, this made a massive racket wind whistling through and the blind still whipping up and smacking the window, i called for help, no other suitable room available. i was awake till 3.50 am when the storm stopped. dropped off and was shortly woken up by the sun streaming straight onto my face because of the lack of curtains and old tatty blind. worst sleep i have had after a day of lots of travelling and an evening out with friends. i will not recommend this hotel. it cost £117 for the one night 1 person in a compact double with breakfast. there was zero luxury whatsoever. some of the listed facilities in the room were non existent and no aircon in room whatsoever. lift an oven. lady at breakfast could smile. night staff unhelpful and moody. front desk was nice on arrival and location is good. thats all.
Lovely hotel good location over looking the sea .
Fans was not strong enough as it was so hot weather but apart from that all was lovely .
Good location and good size room and bathrooms
The bed weren’t terrible but could be. Better
Didn't partake
Everything as expected
Central to the sea front. My room had great views of the Thames.
Cleanliness of room, needed a deep clean with regards to dusting and door knobs/rails.
No daily service except was offered a towel replacement once over 3 nights.
