Excellent hotel in lovely gardens!
Pros:

The gardens were beautiful. The food was lovely and very tasty. The rooms were comfortable and had all amenities.

Pros:

The hotel main building itself was very nice, the staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The room we were assigned had some ware and tear, there was broken tiles in the bathroom, the shower hose didn't fit in the holder and there was some peeling and damage to the wall paper in the bedroom

Beautiful property but best of all, the staff.

Very young but knowledgeable people working at the hotel. Jack, Stan, Theo, Emilio and Michelle were amazing. (I'm sorry can't remember all the names) but know that we appreciate you for making a lovely stay for us. Michelle is a star...thank you!

Great hotel, lovely orangerie, even better staff
Pros:

We love the hotel, its special for us, and we come back almost every year, the Orangerie bar, the gardens, the rooms, are all fantastic, but specially the staff who goes above and beyond. Maite was exceptional

Cons:

The location is a bit removed from anything despite being in Dublin, so not much, is really walkable from the hotel.

Pros:

L'hôtel a beaucoup de charme. Bien situé pour visiter Dublin.
Le petit déjeuner est de qualité.
Le personnel agréable.

Cons:

Le ménage n'était pas correctement fait. Surtout pour 1 5 étoiles. Cheveux dans la chambre. Poussière. Cheveux dans la salle de bain.
Pommeau de douche défectueux. Il a dû être changé. Côté positif= effectué rapidement.

Gardens, setting, comfortable bedroom, genuine welcome from staff!

Cons:

The only thing that didn't sit well with me was the extra charge of €7 for certain items from breakfast menu!!! I've never seen this done before in a hotel setting. A bit excessive in my opinion!

Good but far from 5 star.
Pros:

Beautiful old building. Nice bar food. The restaurant was closed for no given reason. That was on a bank holiday weekend.

Cons:

I don’t really think the rooms deserve a 5 star rating.
There was blood on the mattress protector.
In fairness they changed it straight away.
No robes or slippers in room, they are listed as provided. I asked, I had to request same again an hour and half later.
