This hotel is a great, homey spot in Chicago and doorman Antonio Santizo is 10000/10, always smiling and accommodating. Housekeeping Beatrice also excellent!

Location - It was very convenient, an easy walk to the tourist spots. I am pregnant, and we could easily stop by the hotel after visiting tourist spots for me to refresh, since we visited Chicago during summertime, and rest before heading to the next one.

Staff - Everyone was accommodating and friendly.

Room and bed - It was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. They also have a kettle in the room where it easy for us to boil water to make tea in the room.

Free Coffee - The coffee in the lobby was really good.

They also have an ice machine on some floors

First time in Chicago and I chose L7 as my hotel purely based on location and photos.
Neither disappointed!

The room was perfect and the view over the river was very nice.

The staff was welcoming and helpful.
I had the opportunity to get help from Victoria who was very kind and amazing at her job!

We had such a great experience with the staff here! Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay.

After our redeye flight landed early, we arrived at the hotel around 7 AM, well before check-in time. The front desk was able to put our names on the early check-in list and let us know they would contact us once a room became available. In the meantime, we explored the Riverwalk and were able to come back to the hotel whenever we needed a break or needed to grab something from our luggage.

James at the front desk was especially understanding and helpful from the moment we arrived. He helped us store our luggage while we waited for our room and made it easy for us to access our bags throughout the morning whenever we needed something.

Around 12:40 PM, we called to ask for an updated estimate since we were desperate for some sleep after our travels. Fortunately, were told that a room had just become available for us to check in early, which we really appreciated!

I especially want to recognize Julius from Bell Services, who was wonderful throughout the entire morning. He helped us with our luggage as we stopped in throughout the morning, assisted us multiple times when we needed to retrieve things from our stored bags, and was always incredibly kind and welcoming. Once our room was ready, he personally brought all of our luggage up with the bell cart. His hospitality really stood out and made an already great experience even better.

Overall, every staff member we interacted with made us feel welcomed and taken care of, especially considering how early we arrived. Huge thank you to Julius, James, and the rest of the team for making the start of our stay so easy and enjoyable. Definitely a great place to stay!

I LOVE to travel and I use this site while doing research. Sadly, I rarely take the time to leave many reviews, but this hotel deserves the time to write a review. From the moment I booked this hotel, I knew it was special. But I had no idea just how special it was until I reached out to the manager ahead of my arrival with a logistical question. Laura(girl, you are amazing!) immediately felt like a long lost friend, her warmth and care in making sure my stay was fantastic. She not only answered the question but went above and beyond on my arrival to make sure I felt at home.

The room is phenomenal, every detail was ridiculously attended to. I never wanted to leave the shower, the views from the Corner Suite were nothing short of perfect. The windowsill seats were used heavily for work, napping, eating, just about anything you could dream of! Do not sleep on this hotel, it will be the perfect landing spot for your Chicago riverwalk adventure!

The entire staff was nothing short of the most attentive and kind staff I have ever encountered, huge shout out to Antonio with his stories of the hotel's history and great care to make me feel special! I will be back one day, if not to just say hi to my new friends at the L7 Chicago! Well done Lotte....

The design is beautiful and functional. I loved the baby windows, the furniture and it has everything you need (coffee, a mini fridge, basic toiletries, bath robes). The location is great, right next to the Chicago River. I really enjoyed my stay.
