Good location
Pros:

Great location for all the old town places to visit. Spacious and comfortable family room.

Cons:

The rooftop bar was still not open. We had been assured it would be by the date of our visit. However you were able to take your own drink up to sit there but it felt like a partially finished construction site. Hopefully it will be open soon.

Overall a great stay. Breakfast spread was ok but the same everyday. Thuba was very friendly & helpful.

No electric kettle provided inspite of promising it while booking. Safe door in the room would not close.

Can not recommend highly enough. Istanbul was amazing and the hotel was wonderful

A good hotel in a great location
Pros:

The location is great - close to everything including public transport.
The breakfast is really great and most of the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room wasn’t properly cleaned and we had to ask to have bins emptied. The sign for your door to indicate whether you wanted to have your room cleaned was not provided so this didn’t help.

Friendly ,helpful staff make up for the older building and its foibles. Location is brilliant
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly. No question or request was too much trouble. They made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was traditional Turkish food and was always slightly varied each day. Coffee and tea was always available and Turkish coffee on request.

Cons:

Bathroom ventilation could be better but it is an old building. Choose a room to the back if you prefer a quiet room.

Un très bon établissement, mais qui n’a pas joué la carte de la transparence pour nous prévenir que son principal point

L’emplacement incroyable, le bâtiment historique, la décoration, l’amabilité du personnel, le confort global de l’établissement

Cons:

Le Rooftop, qui constitue un point essentiel de cet hôtel était fermé pour Travaux, et nous n’avions pas été prévenu. Nous étions venus dans ce quartier des SultanAhmet précisément pour les vues extraordinaires qu’offrent les Rooftop des hôtels sur le Bosphore, la mosquée bleue et Sainte-Sophie. N’avons pas du tout apprécié de découvrir que nous n’aurions pas ces vues en arrivant à l’hôtel.

We stayed for 7 nights and were very happy with the staff(who were always friendly)

Great location and lovely staff quiet and air con at night

Cons:

The rooftop terrace was being refurbished so breakfast was in the basement abc we could not see the view. The hotel did not contact us in advance to warn that the terrace would be closed. Breakfast was not very good compared to other places we have stayed in Turkey. We asked for cooked eggs but were told this was only available occasionally. There were cold hard boiled eggs instead and hot chips for breakfast

This is the best place to stay
Pros:

I love this hotel, its the second time i have stayed there. The location is excellent and walking distance to all the major sites and the tram. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Its such a great price as well.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié cet établissement pour l'accueil chaleureux de son équipe, toujours prête à rendre service, et son professionnalisme. Merci à Can, Oktay, Aydın, Tuğba.
L'hôtel est très propre, joliment décoré et il est agréable d'y séjourner. Petit-déjeûner varié et excellent.

Convenient location, nice new hotel
Pros:

Very good location, walking distance to bazaar, metro, sights, bars, restaurants etc. Staff are great, Jan on reception is such an asset, friendly, happy to help and has good recommendations. Also big thank you to breakfast ladies for delicious breakfast. Room was comfortable, nice, we had everything we needed.

Cons:

I chose this hotel as it stated it has a balcony and a rooftop terrace with a view. Neither were accessible during our stay which was disappointing as that was one of my criteria in choosing a hotel in Istanbul and if I knew it - I wouldn’t book it. Rooftop was undergoing works and balconies are unusable and basically serve as a space for AC units - nothing else. Hotel should not advertise or charge more for something that guests can’t use.
Also not hotel’s fault but just to mention that we were pestered by restaurants near by a lot every time we walked to and from hotel. Something we haven’t really experienced that much outside of this street in Istanbul. Harmless but it became a nuisance after a while.
