Pros:

Great hotel in the perfect location for exploring Victoria over a day or two. Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again if back in Victoria.

Amazing!!
Pros:

My favourite hotel. Always spotless, friendly staff and great location. The Courtney Room is also our favourite restaurant. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Victoria.

Details, details, details!
Pros:

If you like to be pampered and details matter in your stay then the Magnolia is your 100% hotel. Everything from welcome cookies to turn-down chocolates. All staff was welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best boutique hotels I visited, outstanding staff and customer service

Highly recommended! We chose this hotel based on its excellent reviews, and they are truly well-earned. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Victoria and the waterfront, the rooms offer a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff is outstanding.I especially want to highlight Ms. Savannah Cannatella, Director of Rooms. She went completely out of her way to return a watch of high sentimental value that my spouse accidentally left behind. Ms. Savannah personally organized international shipping and took great care to package the item securely. Thank you to the entire team—we highly recommend this hotel, its great facilities, and the cozy bar and restaurant!

Beautiful hotel with lots of style!
Pros:

A top hotel with lovely amenities and personal touches. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved the walk-in shower and delicious accoutrements! Had trouble trying to set the alarm, so ended up asking for a wake-up call. TV remote wasn't working properly and that was reported. I should have called for assistance despite the late hour. On checking out, there is one negative point to note... As a Victoria resident, I am not at all comfortable having the MRDT tax applied to a hotel bill that already has umpteen provincial and federal taxes being charged. I refused to pay the MRDT and was reimbursed, so if you're an Island resident, be prepared to see it automatically slapped onto your bill without warning. Hotels should be upfront about this when you're booking. Few people question its purpose however.

Great hotel, with its own personality.
Pros:

The Magnolia does the important things well - quiet, very comfortable rooms, with great beds and bathrooms. It’s in a great location - close to everything, but set back.
The hotel offers efficient valet parking - and complimentary electric bikes.
Breakfast was a bit “Meh” - limited choice.
Would certainly return.

Pros:
