Lovely hotel, stayed twice now. Food is great at the restaurant too
Staff was really polite, friendly and accommodating. Bed was super comfy and clean. Good location for exploring the lake district.
Unfortunately, there were super loud banging of doors super early morning and sometimes late at night. While this might be outside hotel’s control, it’s a consideration to have in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
Every thing about this hotel was the best of our 3 week trip away staying in variuos hotels. Boy was it value for money. Resturant supurb food, spar facilities top rate. I would deffinatly stay again.

Perhaps the best steak I have ever had from Chef Steven. Terrific service, real attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms are comfortable, well sized and appointed. Excellent service all round. This is our second year staying and will be back again
We had a fantastic dining experience at the North Lakes Hotel & Spa, and a big part of that was thanks to Ollie. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made sure we had everything we needed. Most important of which was volume on the TV for the World Cup. His excellent service really made the experience feel special. Ollie is a real credit to the hotel, and we hope to be served by him again on our next visit. Thank you.

Rooms weren't what we expected. Cleanliness was average, rooms were extremely hot. Bunk bed wasnt safe for little one, barrier kept popping off. The price was not worth it for 2 nights of overheating and mediocre rooms.
Restaurant and food were amazing. The waiting staff and reception staff were very friendly as well. The spa facilities were easy to find and use and the treatments were also very good.
There wasn’t any air conditioning. And unfortunately there were flies in the room and in the restaurant and bar areas which meant I spent a lot of my time shoeing them away.
This is so overpriced and had no ac in the room. Rooms were super hot. So much so, that we couldn't even sleep properly.

Not worth the money, over £200 per night for this 4 star hotel. Room was ok. I liked the water and fresh milk along every floor. Nobody has changed the voice in the lift..gets the floors wrong. First breakfast was ok with the pancake machine although the hot food was cold ...lying out too long.Dinner of one expensive course or 2 starters as i struggled to find anything to eat.The steak pie was hot and dry with the ale served in a separate dish. "2nd breakfast was cold food as the pancake machine is only at weekends so i had toast and jam and fruit as the bacon was cold and only cooked on 1 side.i picked this hotel for the pool which was lovely but we won't be back. This is not a 4 star hotel...Hiltons in London are cheaper and better...just charging for the 'LakeDistrict'.
Friendly staff, good distance from station. Restuarant beautiful and good venue for events.
Our room was very hot, which made sleeping very uncomfortable and so didn't get much sleep. There was a fan, but it did very little to the room. I think the rooms needs proper aircons because the type of heat we had this week will come around again. The climate are changing and venues need to adapt. Our shower was blocked, so we had to constantly stop and try to unblock before we cpuld continue showering. I'm afraid I won't be staying there again and won't recommend any of my friends either.

Vårt rum kändes tyvärr väldigt ofräscht. Fullt av flugor. Blött golv i badrummet från det vi kom, troligen pga dålig ventilation. Fuktigt i rummet. Fläckiga lakan.

Chris and Amy went above and beyond to arrange a last‑minute reservation for a special occasion, and their professionalism set the tone for the evening. Abbey looked after our table throughout and was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect.The food was superb, the atmosphere relaxed yet refined, and the service flawless from start to finish. A brilliant night and a team who truly care about their guests. Highly recommended.
