A little choas at breakfast
Clean, friendly staff, solid breakfast
A little farther from the center of town than you would like, but it was convenient to get on/off the highway.
We were very pleased with our stay at Port Inn & Suites. Our room was spacious, clean comfortable and quiet. It was equipped with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. We especially liked the outside sitting areas and gardens. It was a good location for traveling to the destinations we wanted to see. We had no complaints.

I like properties where you can park your vehicle just outside. Makes for convenience. The price was very affordable and location was good.
Well there was a second floor and it was so noisy and creaky made it hard to rest. I actually was very restless all night long. Bathroom was so tiny they had to split four into two sections. Also it needed a lot of fixing up one of the worst I have seen and I been to over 30 in past year.

Breakfast was good. Many selections of drinks and foods.
The bed was bumpy, and by the time we entered the rooms and stteped on the floors, it felt hollow. And we can hear someone walking upstairs our room. Bed position, TV, and microwave strangely placed, not convenient to use.
The main reception building is an elegant older New England style. The rooms were rather large with nice fridge, microwave and table and chairs and comfy beds. There was lots of parking and you could park in front of the rooms where we stayed.
It is located right next to a major highway with traffic noise which is not evident from the photos. The room was clean, but the front door of the reception entrance was dirty and needed painting and was very unwelcoming. The property is in 2 levels with stairs to get down to the area of the pool. I was traveling with a disabled friend who could not go there. The outlets for charging devices in the room would not hold the plug in except in the bathroom. The worst part was that all three of my pillows smelled faintly like perfume like they had not been washed properly from a previous guest. I told the receptionist who said she would mention it, but she did not even say she was sorry. She was courteous, but very unfriendly. I expected the facilities to be a lot nicer from the photos and the staff to be as nice as everyone else was that I met on my two week trip.
You can't beat the price or location. I needed a place to stay on Labor Day weekend and the Port Inn came through.
I can't really hold them for this but the TV was small and in an awkward location. I wasn't there to watch TV though.
Continental breakfast was excellent
Rome was a little dated.
