Hotel itself is decent enough but staff and location were disappointing.
Pros:

I was able to book a room only weeks out from the Stampede which is obviously the busiest time of the year.

Cons:

I had dealings with 3 different staff members on the front desk the evening I checked in and all 3 lacked customer service skills. The hotel is also a fair distance from the airport (approx 15 km's) although it labels itself an airport hotel.

Disappointing
Pros:

New ownership a month ago - we stayed at the Executive Royal Inn many times - it was excellent in every way.
This time:
-Black ant in our bed
-Hot food was just warm
-confection dispenser empty
-front door needed servicing
-parking lot needed cleaning
- on arrival the A/C in room 119 was not turned on and had to reset the circuit breaker
