Pros:

Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great location with tram lines outside your door. Great to see the Soccer world cup on the TV at the reception area

Pleasant staff, good location. Over-bath shower was slippery, needed to ask for non-slip mat.

Affordable, in great location with friendly staff but the facilities are dated.

The property was affordable and perfectly located. The staff we excellent and accommodating

The carpet was dated, the jacuzzi didn’t work. Walking off the elevator to our floor, there was a strong smell of urine.

Cons:

Management has changed hands since I first started staying at this hotel last year, and now they require a $200 deposit on check in. It’s a bit steep for a hotel that isn’t exactly 5 stars.

I pay in advance so I don’t need to worry about payment once I check in. And they will not accept cash even though they let me pay cash last time.

And it’s very strange that they don’t provide bath plugs or slip mats for the shower. You don’t see the sign until you get into the shower. I actually slipped this time, but luckily didn’t fall. This is a safety issue.

Pros:

imy room was on the top level. firstly the upkeep of the level outside of your room is terrible, its dirty, run down and looks like its been forgotten about. the room had terrible view, no cell reception and wifi was just not worth the hassle. pretty sure i saw a rat or mouse running aroumd at night, the safe didnt work, just to name a few things

Pros:

Room had nice view and the beds were comfy. Very convenient for the gardens and river walks. The staff did their best to resolve our issues when they arose.

Cons:

On arrival the twin room I had booked was a king bed room and we had to wait for the bed to be separated and remade. Also, the staff at the front desk were often not there, we had to wait around on a couple of occasions for someone. They seemed short on staff generally.
