Location is amazing to all key tourist landmarks and museums
No air con.
This is our 3rd time staying at the hotel and it was great. The location can't be beat for our needs. The rooms are spacious and we like having a kitchenette. The added bonus of an insuite washer/dryer combo was great. The only issue we had was that with a 2 level 1-bedroom unit, the bedroom (which was upstairs) didn't have AC, so while the rest of the unit was nice and cool during a London heat-wave, the bedroom got a little toasty. They provided a fan, but it wasn't the same as having AC available in the sleeping quarters.
Great bedroom.
The bathroom could have better lighting.
Excellent location
Building is old especially the rooms. However rooms are spacious.
Breakfast is very basic. Because the hotel is close to Trafalgar Square, cafes, takeaway shops close by.
Location was excellent
There could have been a bar but we were able to buy drink and take it to our room
Location
Staff very average
We stayed at the Citadines Trafalgar Square in early July, 2026. The aparthotel is in a fantastic location for touring London. It's walkable to major attractions, the subway, and restaurants/pubs. The staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel 2 days later than planned due to flight delays but staff assured me we would have our room upon arrival. We stayed in a studio room that was quite spacious with a king sized bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. The photos of this studio are accurate. I was worried the room would be too small but it was fine for 2 people. The air conditioning worked great and it was very hot while we were there. The hotel provides coffee 24 hours a day which is a nice amenity. We didn't eat breakfast there or use their laundry machines so can't comment on those services. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
Prima ligging
Location and easy style of management.
Initial allocation of room, but staff worked rounds better option .
Location
Nothing - it was as advertised
Great location; comfortable and resourceful room.
The location was fantastic! There are two train stations behind the hotel, making getting around very easy.
The breakfast was pretty good.
The coffee maker was excellent, especially with the vanilla syrup in a pump, though they took that away after breakfast.
The hallway and room smelled bad.
The room was awkwardly arranged.
The dated kitchenette was a joke, and the dishwasher should just be removed.
The shower was a hazard, mounted like two feet higher than a usual tub. Like someone else mentioned, the cloth shower curtain stuck to me while showering, as the tub was narrow. It was weird. Lots of grout missing, not pretty.
I didn't like that the sink was a raised bowl, there was no room to put my toiletries.
The room was very dark, making it difficult to put on makeup.
The three-prong hair dryer could not be plugged in to the two prong bathroom outlet. We had to dry our hair in the kitchen.
My two-prong curling iron would not run on the bathroom outlet at all. Not enough power (worked in other countries).
The window was extremely old, so they put another window in front of it. Neither window sealed, so there was a lot of traffic noise from outside.
They seem to border students in travel programs, because there were a lot of 20ish kids who all seemed to know each other in the lobby.
The studio pictures in the description did not match the studio room. It was a little rough, and what looked like a kitchen with an island and bar stools must have been in someone else's room.
It was not cheap!
