Outstanding service
Pros:

Zoltan, the manager, and his team provided my staff team with an outstanding service for their training day. From the setting up of the conference room, the necessary equipment and the catering, everything was of the highest standard. The lemon cake was especially delicious! My team felt spoilt and valued and able to enjoy their training. The trainer felt supported with his role. Thank you, Zoltan, and team for your excellent hospitality.

Pros:

Lovely location and an elegant and historic hotel in Aspley Guise.

Cottage room very spacious. Had everything we needed.

Nice bar and outside seating area.

Breakfast typical for Best Western.

Cons:

You have to pay extra for parking, if not booked through the hotel. However, booking.com was MUCH cheaper than booking direct.

The room we had was good, but could do with an uplift. There was a lot of dust under the wardrobe and carpet was pulling up in places. A shame, because on the whole, an elegant room.

Fans were provided, and we were able to open all the windows in the bay.

No fridge, which would be handy.

We had a dog friendly room. But public places still have 'no dogs, except assistance dogs' signs everywhere. Dogs allowed in the bar area only, but tables are a bit small for breakfast service.

Staff all very helpful.

Would stay again.

Clean, reasonably priced hotel with helpful staff, OK for a short stay except in v hot weather!
Pros:

Friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable bed but too hot to sleep

Cons:

. A short distance from the village we saw warnings of ongoing road closures ahead. No diversionary route. It.took us a long time both to reach the hotel and to later leave the village due to the closures and lack of directions for an alternative route.
Not the hotels fault but advance warning would have helped

No lift in hotel. We had a second floor room, staff kindly offered to find some body to carry luggage for me
No Aircon, a common issue in the affordable price range unfortunately.

The hotel dining room furnishings and layout are designed for large 🎉 with a quick turnover, OK for breakfast but lacked appeal in the evening.

Friendly hotel
Pros:

Lovely staff, good breakfast and a nice outdoor seating area. .

Cons:

The small doubles were in a separate building which either face a fairly busy road or the extractor fan for the kitchens. In hot weather when you need your window open it wasn’t a great choice.

As above
Pros:

We were extremely impressed with all the staff we encountered, during our 3 night stay. They were extremely friendly and professional and went out of their way to making our stay enjoyable. The boss, Zoltans chair pushing talents were very adept, on our arrival👌 My wife has no recollection of this. We are extremely grateful for his help
We have stayed many times, over the years, at Moore Place and will be staying again in the future

Really enjoyed this visit to the village where I was born and lived for 20 years.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely, very airy in the heat, very clean and comfortable, Well serviced every day. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the night we arrived as meeting up with family for a meal and had to book elsewhere. A lift would have been helpful for us as stairs not easy for us.

A nice place for our one night stop over
Pros:

We were here one night en route to home from a short break. We were booked for Bletchley Park the next day and Moore Park is well placed for that. The rooms were comfortable. There was a lot of space for sitting outside by the waterfall pool which we used, as it was so hot when we were there. The restaurant was quiet but the food was fine. We did have cause to speak to reception where the staff were very helpful.

Very pleasant stay, would always be my first choice when visiting family in the area.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, very polite, room was comfortable the only thing I would change would be the pillows. They were not comfy in that I had a sore neck in the morning as they were too soft. The bottom sheet slipped a bit and I had expected a flat sheet to be under the duvet as well, during hot weather, that is all you need but it wasn't there as an option in this room on this occasion. Breakfast was smashing, lots of choice, cooked beautifully too.

Cons:

Pillows I think, they were too soft maybe having one firmer and one softer pillow would give a better option for those that have a bad back or neck I think.

Poor
Pros:

Tried to contact hotel before we went, my husband is disabled and wanted to ensure we had a suitable room. Phone number on website put me through to a call centre, i was first given phone number for a hotel for a hotel in Torquay then one in Canada. Gave up and booked online. I got an email a few days before we went to say we wouldnt be able to eat in hotel that night, event on. When we checked in, which took quite some time, were told restaurant was open. Hard to make plans with conflicting information. Breakfast was a buffet, not much choice , longish wait for toast and other food to be replenished. Second morning arrived at dining room to be told we hadnt booked breakfast, yes we had but meant a trip back to reception to sort it out. Second evening ee returned back to hotel with family hoping to relax. Unfortunately their was a wedding on, every space was taken up with wedding guests, inside and out, reception areas and bar. I really felt i was intruding on a wedding. A member of staff did put up a table outside, but still sat amongst wedding guests. It would have there could have been a seperate room for those of us not attending wedding could have used. Room was ok but shouldnt be described as best. Mattress was hard and pillows not at all acceptable. We just had one evening meal, not a great choice. We were thee during a hetwave. Just a bit of imagination should have been used to change menu slightly to make food more suitable for weather. I will possibly visit this hotel again as i have family in the village. I will definitely make sure not to go when there is a wedding on.
