It was ok for one night
Pros:

Location was ideal, bed was super comfy

Cons:

It wasn’t the cleanest. The showers rolling door has obviously been removed so the water just sprays across the floor of the bathroom, was unable to turn off the rain head shower and switch it back to the normal one. Also the A/C thermostat thing didn’t seem to be working.

Pros:

Breakfast was ok, probably the best scrambled eggs we've had in a while for a buffet. Location was good, just a shame about the Auckland parking!

Shorter than anticipated but very glad t have been at Rydges
Pros:

staff went above & beyond to assist when unfortunately I had an accident in town and ended up in hospital. The support of tour staff made everything so much easier

Hotel was great, staff was a let down. For what we paid, we do expect to be atleast spoken to with common courtesy.
Pros:

The property is located in a great area of the city. Conveniently next to great bars, restaurants, sky tower and a dairy right outside. Rooms are clean and have everything needed.

Cons:

Reception staff and house keepers were great, cannot fault them at all but the restaurant staff were unbelievably rude and extremely disrespectful. Both the events bar staff and behind the bar on the ground floor need training on general customer service and conflict prevention/management.

Would stay again if we find ourselves in Auckland.
Pros:

The room was nice and spatious, location was perfect as we chose to walk everywhere and this location was close enough to the destinations we wanted to go to.
