The only positive thing about this hotel was the location. Unfortunately, almost everything else about our stay was disappointing.
One of the biggest issues was the timeshare sales experience. A sales representative initially approached us acting as though he was providing concierge assistance. He suddenly mentioned a “free drink and breakfast,” which made it sound like a normal hotel guest benefit. However, the conversation quickly turned into a timeshare sales pitch. He asked us inappropriate and highly personal questions, including what type of credit card we use and how much we earn. We were then expected to spend our vacation time listening to the sales pitch. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and felt very misleading. We did not appreciate being approached this way as hotel guests.
The condition and cleanliness of the room were also unacceptable. The bathtub mat had visible mold, and there was mold on the curtains as well. There was a persistent moldy/musty smell throughout the room for our entire stay, which made it unpleasant to spend time there.
The pool area was similarly disappointing. The pool water did not look clean, and several tiles were broken and appeared to have been left unrepaired for quite some time. After seeing other reviews mentioning similar maintenance issues, it honestly gave us the impression that the property management is not taking proper care of the property.
We also did not choose the all-inclusive option, but considering the amount we paid for the room, I was surprised that the hotel did not even provide basic drinking water. The overall value was extremely poor.
First time at all resort out of the country. We had an amazing experiences. We opted to get the all inclusive package for peace of mind and it was so worth it. They greet you with champagne and five minute complementary massage. Everyone from front desk to pool bar attendees were amazing. The food was incredible, we mostly ate at La Ceiba which is the restaurant by the pool. Tasteful good, lots of options especially because we are picky eaters. Staff Diana, Paul, Alberto and Edgar were absolutely amazing. We ran into them every single day and they all took great care of us. Overall, an amazing resort if youre looking to eat, relax and enjoy some alone tome with your person. Will be coming back.
Our fourth stay did not disappoint. Service ia top notch great food and drinks but their customer service is outstandin and makes our stays so enjoyable.
This is my third stay at villa premiere. I’ve stayed with both friends and my husband so don’t let the ‘romantic’ name put you off if that is not what you’re looking for. I enjoy the relaxing setting and vibe by the pool and the pool staff is great. Always friendly and helpful. Particularly, Jorge, Victor, and Paul - the pool concierge. Plus, I’ve never had a problem getting a chair at the pool like other resorts where people save chairs first thing in the morning and then never use them. I feel like the pool menu has changed over the years and wish it still had more traditional Mexican poolside options like quesadillas and nachos. They’ve also started charging for extra coffee pods for the Nespresso machines in rooms if you don’t have the all inclusive option, combined with their sales pitch to buy a membership, both of which left a bad taste to this third visit. Go Bears!
Overall excellent. Beautiful views, an effortlessly elegant atmosphere, and the staff - Paul, Esteban, Javier, Jorge - all fantastic, attentive and kind. Everything we hoped for; we’d come back in an instant.
Pool with an ocean view. All rooms have views of the ocean
Only 2 restaurants and both were very slow
My wife and I came on a trip to Puerto Vallarta and we stayed at Villa Premiere. Let me tell you the pool concierges are top line and made sure we enjoyed our stay. They were checking up on us constantly making sure we had every thing we needed. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay, you won’t be disappointed!
No complaints great service food and people. Paul was very accommodating and took very good care of us as well as every other employee.
Villa Premiere is a really nice boutique hotel with very good food options at their restaurants. They had 2 restaurants at the time we went (other restaurant is being renovated). Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all amazing. Drinks are great as well. We did the all inclusive and was well worth the money. Amazing service by all staff at this hotel. Paul is in charge of the pool area and he was attentive, gets you whatever you need or want, and just an awesome person! Javier, Jugo, Alberto and Diana as well as all other staff were just phenomenal. Pay for what you get at this hotel for sure….its worth it! All inclusive hotels usually don’t have that great of food…..this hotel had amazing food fresh and ready to eat…..no buffets. We also did spa treatments and it is very very very nice! Worth the money also. Highly recommend this boutique hotel if you are looking for a very relaxing stay this is your place!
Our stay here was amazing! Today is the last day and we don’t want to leave at all. we love the people, the atmosphere, the hospitality and much much more.
paul at the pool is great! all of our waiters including hugo, diana, javier, viktor, alberto, and everyone else we forgot to mention are all fantastic. we are glad we chose to stay here at villa premiere.
at the spa we got the moisturizing body treatment, the facial cleaning, and the couple massage for 80 min.
Highly recommend their spa services as well and make sure to take advantage of the saunas before your service!
Oh and before i forget to mention! The food. chefs kiss. impeccable
This is one of my favorite places to visit. It is such a relaxing atmosphere with great service, amazing food, and just overall a wonderful experience. The vibe is romantic and relaxing, this isn't the place to go for a party atmosphere, but it's the perfect place to get away and just enjoy the ocean.
The best vacation we’ve ever had. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and just all around lovely. Particularly love Paul at the pool and victor bartending at the pool bar. Javi is amazing server. Lesandro at the front is also amazing!!!
We've never felt so pampered. From the welcome drinks to the complimentary massage that melted away the knots from traveling, every detail made us feel cared for. We spent hours enjoying both the pool and the beach. A special shout out to Paul, who took amazing care of us. Judging by how effortlessly he looked after everyone, this is simply the level of service here—but what impressed us most was that everything was done promptly, without ever making us wait. Truly an exceptional experience.
Walkable distance to Malecon and Zona Romantica and plenty of food around here as well. They also let you rent out water equipment and bicycles
Paul, Jorge, Emilio, Javiers, Hugos, Enrique, Lisandrio, Julio, Carolina and all the others are amazing people. Good resort. Good food.
We recently stayed at this resort to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary, and overall I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
First, I want to recognize some outstanding employees. Paul, the pool concierge, was absolutely amazing and truly made our stay more enjoyable. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Javier, Adan, and Diana for their excellent service and positive attitudes. Housekeeping also did a wonderful job—our room was always clean and well cared for.
The resort itself is clean, well-maintained, and on the smaller side, which makes it a great option if you’re looking for peace, privacy, and a quieter atmosphere.
There were, however, a few disappointments. The front desk staff could improve their communication and customer service skills. They were not as welcoming as we expected, and some interactions felt dismissive. While the staff worked hard, I also think additional English-language training would be beneficial for guests who don’t speak Spanish.
The all-inclusive package was not worth the extra cost in our opinion. The food selection was very limited, there were no buffet options, and the variety did not meet our expectations compared to other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited. We also found the $90 resort credit to have very little value, as most of the eligible services and activities were so expensive that the credit barely made a difference.
One of our biggest disappointments was that we had been told we might receive an upgrade to a honeymoon suite in honor of our anniversary. Unfortunately, that never happened, and the supervisor was unwilling to work with us to make the occasion a little more special. That was disappointing, especially since we were celebrating such a meaningful milestone.
Despite these frustrations, we truly appreciate the hard work of the employees who made an effort to serve us. I sincerely pray that God bless every employee and their families and provide for all of their needs. Thank you to those who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
I’d be happy to. Here’s the revised version without mentioning Oliver.
Villa Premiere exceeded every expectation and delivered exactly the kind of vacation I was hoping for.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, elegant, and genuinely welcoming. As a solo traveler, I appreciated how comfortable and relaxed I felt throughout my stay. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and tranquility, making it an ideal escape while still being within easy walking distance of Puerto Vallarta’s Malecón and the Romantic Zone.
The staff deserves special recognition. Every interaction was warm, professional, and sincere. Whether I was at the front desk, by the pool, or dining at the hotel, I was consistently treated with kindness and genuine hospitality. Housekeeping also did an outstanding job keeping my room spotless, and it was always a pleasure returning after a day of exploring.
The pool area quickly became one of my favorite places. It was never difficult to find a comfortable lounge chair, and the service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Many afternoons were happily spent relaxing by the water with a cocktail, listening to the waves, and enjoying the beautiful ocean views.
The food was another highlight. Every meal I had at the resort was excellent, from breakfast to dinner. The quality of the ingredients and presentation was consistently impressive. While I enjoyed experiencing several of Puerto Vallarta’s outstanding restaurants, I always looked forward to returning to Villa Premiere.
The location is another major advantage. It is close enough to walk to the Malecón, excellent restaurants, and local attractions, yet far enough away to provide a quiet, relaxing atmosphere when you return. It truly offers the best of both worlds.
I have stayed at many excellent hotels over the years, and Villa Premiere now ranks among my favorites. I left feeling rested, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next visit. If you are looking for an adults only beachfront hotel that combines exceptional service, outstanding dining, beautiful accommodations, and a perfect location, I cannot recommend Villa Premiere highly enough.
What an amazing vacation with friends! The all-inclusive option is definitely the way to go. We loved how kind and attentive the entire staff was, especially with how carefully they catered to my gluten allergy. So many team members felt like true friends by the end of our trip. We’ll especially miss Paul’s stories, his sunglass-cleaning service, and the way he treated us like royalty. We will definitely be back! Thanks again for everything.
