You know the hotel was less than 10 minutes away from the ceremony I had to attend and less than 15 minutes away from th
Pros:

It was clean and quiet. I had a place to rest my head, make little meals in my own room and got to stay active by walking up and down the stairs and using the little gym.

Cons:

I don’t really have any complaints. The pool was a little dirty, but they sent someone to fix it right up, but I was already checking out at the time which is perfectly understandable because the hotel has many moving parts.

Good price, friendly staff, no real pool and the splash pool provided is in disrepair

It was clean, had a good breakfast, friendly staff at check in, comfortable bed, good location and proximity to the beach areas and all of San Diego.

Cons:

The pool is not as advertised on the website and was not working when we checked in. There was no notice when we booked the hotel and we were not told at check in that it was closed. We have personally had pools and it needs to be replastered badly. A large part of why we booked the hotel was the pool for 4th of July by the beach so we had options if the beach was too busy. The pool on the hotel website looks like a normal sized pool but the actual pool at the property is a small splash pool, 4 ft deep by maybe 10 ft wide. The location, while being central is a bit of a concern in that it is in the parking lot of Mossy ford basically and the backside where we were overlooks their service area and a small grassy area with a lot of homeless people camped out. However having said all of that. It was a decently priced hotel for 4th of July weekend and would have gotten a higher rating had the pool been repaired and in working order. We had a navy underwater welder repair our plaster but the plaster on your pool needs to completely be redone new and then you would have something you could really market.
