Everything
Nothing
Location
Extremely dated and tired accommodation.
Sleeps 6. 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower.
Hot tub old and bit grim.
Attended the venue for a wedding and stayed the night to not have to mess around with taxis home. Location of venue is fantastic and the food and drinks were good.
Outside the restaurant overlooking the lake definately needs a lick of paint and 90% of the chairs in this area are on there last legs and in need of replacement. Also the toilets in this area also definately need a refurb.
The bathroom in our cabin was dated with a crack across the basin.
Amazing
Everything was good
Interesting wood setting for log cabin.
Check in was shambolic, wrong room then right but neither of which provided a key that worked. Since its drive from reception to the cabin the faffing around took ages. Room was well passed it’s best, smelt of damp and there was no hot water as in no water coming out of the hot taps. Room needed a good scrub and repair.
The room was clean but generally tired in it's decor.
I stayed in a lodge which although rainy and cold outside was warm and cosy inside - a unique little place - nice, I liked it
Nothing. Good facilities
Beautiful woodland surrounding. So serene. Daily towel change and beverage refills.
Being coeliac i ordered a gluten free evening meal but 10 minutes after ordering, i was told that the chips were unsuitable as they were fried in the same fryer as everything else. I appreciate that this problem was identified but it shouldnt be offered as an option on the menu. The potatoes were changed and the food was outstanding when it arrived.
