Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man erreicht viele Orte schnell und einfach. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen öffentlichen Bereich mit einem besonderen Frühstücksraum.

Cons:

Manchmal sind einzelne Mitarbeiter zu sehr auf Stammgäste fixiert. Aber das trübt den gesamten Eindruck nicht.

A calm oasis close to all the sights.
Pros:

Our room was a good size and very clean, comfortable and quiet. There were nice touches, such as a box of toiletries and vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine. The atrium is a lovely calm space in the centre of the hotel. It has been very well designed and a lot of attention paid to creating a unique atmosphere. Breakfast was varied and delicious and made a very relaxing start to the day. The location is excellent for sightseeing but it is in a fairly quiet street.
All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely place, please improve the breakfast a little bit.
Pros:

Very beautiful room’s design, very clean, stuff very friendly, great bathroom accessories, great location - close to almost all sights

Cons:

Absence of little fridge in room, breakfast is very basic, no even simple salad with cucumber and tomato. In some hours of the day coffee bar of the hotel is closed, no option to prepare coffee if you already checked out.

A quirky, inviting hotel in the heart of Vienna - would love to stay again!
Pros:

This was our first visit to Vienna. When looking where to stay I was immediately drawn to Gilbert, and so glad we booked there! We received a warm welcome, the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy with thoughtful extra touches. Plenty of breakfast options, and exquisite food and wine at &Flora. The hotel is ideally located, a 15 minute walk to the main attractions in the Innere Stadt, with the nearest underground station just around the corner for travelling further across the city - very efficient train service. We had a wonderful time in Vienna and would not hesitate to stay with Gilbert again!
