Great gym
No AC
The reception, bar, restaurant etc were as one would expect.
I have stayed in a number of Village Hotels but this place was not up to the companies usual standards. The accommodation section and rooms need renovating and are not what one would expect at a Village Hotel. I booked during the height of the last heat wave expecting there to be air conditioning (I should have checked) but was met with a little fan on the desk. The room was sweltering and for the price of the room, one really expects more.
Location
It seems that the room was not vacuum cleaned properly. There were fluffy pieces that were on the carpets . The room was facing the car park and noisy until late at night. It seems that air conditioning goes off at about 11pm and the room gets quite hot and by opening the window you get noise from the carpark. There was a fan in the room provided. We used the fan . With the continuous noise from the fan ,it was difficult to sleep.

Fact we had to pay for parking after already paying for the room.
Unfortunately for me bed not comfortable noted had mattress topper . Feel this needs to be looked at.

Facilities in the room were inadequate so had to move rooms. General maintenance overall not great. Spoke with management who authorised partial refund.
The room was spacious and the breakfast was pleasant.
The room was very hot there was no air conditioned in my room . Only one fan was provided for us . We couldn't sleep because it was very hot that day. I was really disappointed
I had a long-term stay at this hotel while working away from home, and I can't thank Nana enough for making it so much more comfortable by ensuring I got the same room!
