Erhebliche, gesundheitsrelevante Hygienemängel
Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt hinterlässt leider einen sehr gemischten, in der Summe negativen Eindruck. Positiv hervorzuheben sind das ausgesprochen freundliche Zimmer- und teilweise das Barpersonal. Unser Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich ausgestattet, insgesamt aber eher zweckmäßig und ohne besonderen Luxus-Eindruck- angesichts des Zimmerpreises haben wir mehr erwartet. Sehr praktisch war der große Fernseher mit Screen-Mirroring, sodass sich eigene Streaming-Dienste unkompliziert über das Smartphone nutzen ließen.

Cons:

Deutlich negativer haben wir den Service an der Rezeption erlebt.
Das Personal dort empfanden wir mehrfach als wenig freundlich und die Abläufe als unzuverlässig. Bereits am ersten Abend meldeten wir eine nur sehr schlecht ablaufende Dusche, durch die Wasser ins Badezimmer austrat, und baten darum, das aufgrund der Überflutung nicht zu betretende Bad wieder nutzbar zu machen und die völlig durchnässte Fußmatte auszutauschen. Uns wurde zugesichert, dass sich gleich jemand darum kümmern würde – passiert ist nichts. Ebenso wurde uns zugesagt, einen Leihbademantel auf das Zimmer zu schicken; auch dieser kam nicht.

Der Spa-Bereich war für uns ein wesentlicher Grund für die Buchung. Dass es sich, abgesehen von den strikt textilfreien Saunen, um einen fakultativ textilfreien Bereich handelt, war uns als regelmäßigen Vabali-Besuchern nicht fremd- allerdings fehlte es angesichts dessen an jeglicher Awareness-Kultur. Sehr befremdlich fanden wir zudem, dass in einem großen Spa mit zahlreichen Saunen keine kostenfreie Trinkwasserquelle zur Verfügung stand. Wasser musste im Restaurant gekauft werden.

Der gravierendste Punkt betraf jedoch die Hygiene. Wir beobachteten im Innenbereich des Spas in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Restaurant zwei lebende Mäuse. Unter Holzabdeckungen fanden wir zudem zahlreiche kleine dunkle Rückstände, die für uns zweifelsfrei wie Nagetierausscheidungen aussahen, sowie erhebliche Staubablagerungen. Wegen des ausdrücklichen Fotografierverbots im Spa haben wir hiervon keine Fotos angefertigt, den Sachverhalt aber unmittelbar persönlich reklamiert.
Besonders irritierend war für uns die Reaktion auf diese Reklamation. Der Manager Herr W. bestritt das Auftreten von Mäusen nicht und erklärte sinngemäß, es könne einmal passieren, dass Mäuse hineinliefen- was wir aufgrund unserer Beobachtung fernab vom Außenbereich als wenig stichhaltig empfanden.

Habitación muy comoda y cerca del centro
Pros:

La ubicación correcta a unos veinte minutos caminando de la catedral, pero en una zona muy correcta. Nosotros nos alojamos en un anexo que para ir al hotel tenias que voltear la manzana, un poco incomodo para acceder al gimnacio y otros servicios del hotel. La habitacion en cambio excelente, muy amplia, limpia y comoda

Absolut empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Vor allem das ausgesprochen freundliche und fachkundige Team, insbesondere auch in der großzügigen Therme, wo man optimal entspannen kann. Gefallen hat mir auch das sehr moderne Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, das hervorragendes Frühstück und die sehr zentrale, aber auch sehr ruhige Lage. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Relaxing
Pros:

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant in general. You can take a break from the wellness area in the restaurant for drinks or food and you don't even need to change.
The staff is also really friendly, especially our favorite staff member Batko😁

This hotel stay was dissapointing
Pros:

The location was ideal for exploring Cologne. It was less than a half an hour's walk from most places,

Cons:

We did not have breakfast as it was too expensive. We didn't like that the pools are not swimming pools, this was not clear on the website, the main reason we booked this hotel was for the pools. The rooms were cleaned but no toilet paper was replaced. The TV channels are scrambled and it probably costs extra to unscramble them.

Solide, aber nicht top.
Pros:

Gut aufgeteilt, ruhiges Zimmer in zentraler Innenstadtlage. Die Verbindung von Hotel und Therme ist ein starkes Pro-Argument.

Cons:

Relativ teuer. Die Teppichböden in den Fluren sind teilweise schon sehr unansehnlich. Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbeffet war im Anbetracht des Preises sehr "basic".

A modern and spacious hotel near the city centre.
Pros:

The hotel is a short walk to the city centre. The room was very large and the hotel is modern and decorated nicely. The room was cleaned daily. They have a fridge in the room with a few drinks at reasonable prices. Reception staff were pleasant. The pool at the far side of the spa is beautiful and peaceful with beds to relax and you can take drinks in. It costs 10euro for a towel and slippers. As many people have noted it is compulsary naked which was a bit of a surprise as i didn't feel it was clear on booking.com. Once we got over our fears after a few beers it was ok but we onle went in once over our 3 days sadly.

Cons:

As we werent aware the spa, pool and sauna was naked it came as a bit of a shock as this was one of the reasons i chose the hotel. We only went in once after drinking some beers for dutch courage. The signage in the sauna areas is only in Genram so we struggled to understand rules and expaectaions such as being naked but sitting on a towel in the sauna. The shower leaked from under the screen door so it meant we had to mop up with towels which seemed a wasste for the laundry staff.
