Pros:

The location was fantastic. The room was very nice.

Cons:

Not very accessible. Steps were required to get to the elevator. Staff did not answer the phone.

We only had one night wish we had more.

Loved the old world charm , beautiful reading room, billiard room and bar , we had a wonderfull breakfast in the dining room , its a non for prophet organisation With very friendly staff

Spacious, old world atmospheric accommodation and dining.
Pros:

Unique accommodation in a beautiful old building. Loved the suite with a living room. Large wardrobe to store luggage. Very spacious bedroom and huge bed. Dining room, balcony bar and lounge rooms all beautiful. A lovely old club vibe.

Cons:

Being an old building some of the furniture and finishes a bit old. Not a problem just not 5 star luxury.

Gut für 2 Nächte durch die ausgezeichnete Lage
Pros:

Lage war top, grundsätzlich das Gebäude such sehr eindrucksvoll

Cons:

Teppich in den Zimmern und der famit verbundene Geruch, auch nach der Toilettenspülung ear der Geruch wirklich furchtbar

Old-fashioned comfort
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Despite its location, it was very quiet at night. It was convenient for the harbour and many attractions. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes close by.

Cons:

No kettle in the room! We had a wine cooler and wine glasses but I longed for a coffee machine or kettle. The bulky period furniture is also not to my taste but that's the kind of place it is and others may love it.

Great business time there.
Pros:

My meeting provided Breakfast so I didn't have breakfast in this place. The location was the great thing. Right downtown near everything given I flew Harbour to harbour and meet in the core. What was a surprize was the Reading room, the bar and the snooker billiard's room. The history every where you looked was most impressive. The dinner was great there too. Reasonable priced for the city and so good.

Cons:

Nothing, my wife want us to go back and call it a vacation.

Elegance without stuffiness!
Pros:

The room was a lovely suite, that was elegant but comfortable. No ac but amazing cross breezes. Staff was very accommodating and quick to respond.

Beau séjour au Union club de BC
Pros:

Bel emplacement , belle bâtisse et bon petit déjeuner avec un serveur très attentionné qui nous a donné des conseils pour visiter l’île .

Cons:

Le bar qui était fermé à cause du jour de la reine . Mon mari voulait vraiment goûter à cette expérience.
