رحلة مخيبة للآمال

الموقع فقط حيث أنه على يقع في منطقة الووترفرونت في نانزيا

حجزت 5 أيام وعندما وصلت للفندق تفاجأت بانقطاع المياه عن الفندق والمياه صفراء وتم إبلاغي أن الموضوع مؤقت ولكن للأسف استمر الوضع وعند الاستفسار لم أحصل على رد واضح ولم استطع استكمال مدة إقامتي وطالبت باستعادة المال فأفادوا أن موقع بوكينغ هو المسؤول ومازلت بالانتظار .. كما أن الأثاث قديم فلقد سكنت قبل سنتين في الفندق ومازال الأثاث قديم والثلاجة فيها رائحة غير مرغوبة كنت أتمنى أن أستمتع في اجازتي ولكن لم تتحقق أمنيتي .

Die Lage.
Frühstück war okay, aber nichts Besonderes.

Cons:

Die Anlage wirkt wie ein Motel. Bei unserer Anreise waren die Aufzüge ausser Betrieb,. Die Fenster ließen sich nicht verriegeln..Nach der Reklamation an der Rezeption ließen sie sich nicht mehr öffnen. Die Handbrause war defekt und der Seifenspender in der Dusche leer. Das Hotel wird gerade wohl renoviert, was zu Einschränkungen führt. Der beheizte Outdoorpool war dreckig. Insgesamt für ein Marriot Hotel ein Flopp.

Pros:

Um excelente café da manhã, quarto muito bom e com vista para a marina. Excelente atendimento. Estacionamento incluso e seguro. Com um centro de lojas e restaurantes ao lado.

Lovely hotel in Knysna in a fabulous location
Pros:

We booked 2 x rooms for 3 nights. The hotel is right next to the waterfront so in a great location. Our rooms were next to each other as requested. The rooms with even numbers have a pool/marina view and odds offer a city view.
The rooms were spacious. Clean and modern and have a fridge. The beds were comfortable.
We had bed and breakfast booked. The breakfast was buffet and had plenty of choice including cold meats. Cereal, cooked breakfasts and pastries.
My tip is if you want eggs with your cooked breakfast, ask for them 1st as they make them fresh. Otherwise by the time they are ready, your breakfast will not be warm.
The hotel workers were all lovely and cannot do enough for you. There is secure parking at a fee of 30 Rand per day.
There is some refurbishment work going on, so there are no lifts at the moment. The porters did take our luggage for us as we were on the 3rd floor.
The pool looks lovely, but it just wasn't warm enough for us to use.
This is a lovely hotel and if the lifts had been working, I would have given 5. But hopefully this will only be temporary.
Knysna is a beautiful location with so much to see and do.

Pros:

Location was excellent. Rooms were a good size as was the bathroom. Unfortunately the lifts were not working at the time. Buffet breakfast was good with decent selection. Staff were good.

Protea Hotel Knysna very well located
Pros:

The location to the start of the Knysna Cycle Challenge and to the waterfront. The cleaning and porter staff were fabulous.

Cons:

The lift is not operational. For the elderly and people with dodgy knees, it's a problem to access the rooms on the first and second floors.
