Great bed and sleep! Shower is the problem
Pros:

Check in was good, got to room and went to take shower and realized that I got more spray hitting the toilet and floor outside of the shower then in the shower. Need to fix the shower heads so you can actually take a shower instead of using towels to dry the toilet and floor. Also what is the extra charge when we have to check ourselves out when I handed her my key and told her I was checking out!

Pros:

Wingate was OK. It is a bit dated with some wear & tear.
The room was clean & spacious, and the bed was absolutely wonderful.
I was uneasy walking my dog in the area, even during the day. I carried my mace spray. Never needed it, but was glad I had it. Only saw freaky people when I walked my dog up & down the street, never at the hotel property.

The very spacious room, the cleanliness of the room, and the spacious bathroom with the amenities that were included (liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash).

Adequate hotel for traveling by car.
Pros:

This was our 4th or so time at this hotel. Ideal for traveling by car between Ohio and Texas or Arkansas. The location does give you pause as there are homeless near the hotel. They accept a dog, but walking the dog off the hotel grounds is a little risky. The downside in the hotel is that the gym has been closed for quite some time and the elevators seem like they are on their last legs. They have done a great job of putting multiple plug ins and charging ports on either side of the bed.
