Expected better! Out of items which were advertised

Expected better! Room cleanliness was below standards. Breakfast was not very good and they were out of some items! Appliances were not working !ect

Worst hotel my whole trip into tennessee
Cons:

Ceiling feel down in bathroom, no nightstand on bed side, smoke detector covered in plastic not attached to wall, remote for TV didn't work, used bar soap in bathroom shower, breakfast was below acceptable kitchen was mess, someone spliced whole glass of cocoa in dining area it was left for over 30 minutes before being cleaned causing a slipping hazzard.

Lucky Saves the Day!!
Pros:

We had a good one night stay at Wingate due largely to Lucky- the receptionist. There was a mixup in our reservation using a third party booking company. Lucky did a wonderful job taking care of this headache! The rest of our stay went very well--quiet room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Recommend you stay here if you are in East Memphis.

The beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The front desk clerk wasn't friendly at all. My family and I booked our rooms a month in advance. The clerk says someone tried to call us to let us know there weren't any more rooms with 2 beds. There were only rooms with 1 bed. We checked our calls and no one had reached out to us. Thankfully, our room was upgraded to a suite with a sofa bed and everyone had a place to sleep. The sheets looked dingy. I didn't see any housekeepers the entire time we were there. My brother-in-law wasn't allowed to use his military discount. The clerk said the rooms are already discounted when you book online. Also, the clerk said it could take 7-14 days for the $100 hold to be refunded. I don't mind the hold, but most hotels release the hold as soon as you check out. I have definitely crossed this hotel off of places to stay.

Everything was good although the location was kinda iffy. But overall my stay was good.

Cons:

The hot water does not get HOT as it should. And hot water is very important!!!

Will find a different hotel next time I'm there

Close to the location that I was doing some work at.

Cons:

My room was given to someone else even though I booked it in advance. They didn't have anything decent for breakfast. All amenities were closed. The staff member that checked me in acted like she was doing me a favor for 'upgrading' my room to a king suite but my brother was with me so that 'upgrade' wasn't going to help. She was visibly put out when I told her this. The hotel was hot and took the A/C forever to cool down.

Good stay
Pros:

stayed at this hotel for a couple of days over easter. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower wall did have a crack in it and the toilet seem to drain slowly. soap and other condiments were available. although hotel is located in what may not look like the best area it was quiet with not a lot of extra noise.
