We chose it to be close to the gallery and other attractions and it didn’t disappoint. Very happy with our stay
Pros:

Location was great. Right on Rundle plaza. The rooms were comfortable and well priced. Staff very helpful and efficient. Happy hour drinks in the bar very pleasant.

Cons:

It is right above the mall so it comes with some street noise but it didn’t disturb us.

Convenient, friendly, excellent value
Pros:

Convenient for what I needed. Good location, comfortable and staff were very nice and accommodating. This is value.

It’s perhaps a bit dated but in saying that it was functional and clean.

We enjoyed our stay but it would be improved with an upgrade to curtains in the bedroom.
Pros:

It was close to public transport shops restaurant areas and gardens. It provided free access for car parking.

Cons:

Our room fronted onto Rundle St Mall and despite being on level 5 was quite noisy. The curtains did not block out lights from the mall such that it was very light throughout the whole night.

Don’t have too high expectation.!

It was in a good location.

Cons:

It was musty, the windows were disgustingly filthy. What is the use of being in the mall if you can’t even see out. The bar was very noisy and was quite loud from our room.

Could be so good, but needs TLC
Pros:

It was central to CBD, easy walk to locations needed.

Cons:

Parking was free, but a bit challenging with lots of baggage and instructions. Also exit pass did not work.
Bed not comfy. Air con not able to be modified, so very warm and stuffy. Bar and restaurant not open during the week, which was one of the reasons for booking.
Sorry I really wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't what I expected.

A quiet (we were there mid week) room close to so many places.
Pros:

An excellent location. Walking distance to so many locations eg the botanical gardens, zoo, art gallery, shopping restaurants, universities ,footy etc. We did not use our car during our 2 night stay.

Cons:

As an older person I would have appreciated a comfortable chair to relax in, in the room.

Character hotel in a fabulous spot
Pros:

Location - right in the mall - altho’ getting dropped in an alleyway by the taxi was disconcerting as it was very late and the alleyway full of rubbish and some rats
