Close to airport

Cons:

No snack machine works with a phone outside the Italy and most are traveling from outside of Italy. Staff not helpful.

It was just okay but we will look elsewhere the next time we need a place near Fiumicino.

The lack of included amenities. At check in, reception made a very big deal about Hilton Honors members, of which I am one, getting free bottled water and free WiFi. That “benefit” is printed on the key card sleeve and on a separate piece of paper you are given. Every hotel (big, small, tiny, city, country, etc.) I stayed at during my six weeks in Italy provided free bottled water and free WiFi - it is standard. The in-room “coffee station” consisted of an electric kettle, two packets each of regular and decaf Nescafé, a few teabags, half a dozen sugar/sweetener packets and two small creamers. None of these were resupplied for our second night - I had to call.

We were in room 1001 and there was an almost constant “rolling” noise the first night. At first, we thought it was caused by roller bags going past (the room is very close to the elevators), then we thought it was airplane noise but, I believe, it was caused by a large rolling utility door right next to the room. Unless one needs an accessible room (we do not), I would not accept this room.

Pros:

From the airport, the hotel is reached via an enclosed corridor. It is not necessary to leave the airport building. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. Although it is close to the airport, airplanes are not heard.

Cons:

There were no bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom.

Great place to stay with easy access to airpirt
Pros:

The hotel is connected to the airport via a foot bridge-i was able to walk into terminal to talk to airline staff about needed special assistance for our flight the next day.
Especially Great for early morning flights.
The hotel staff was wonderful and accommodating to us as we needed a wheelchair and early morning shuttle to airport. Can’t thank them enough for making a stressful time easier.

Bien pour une nuit à l’aéroport.

Pros:

Good location for flights and helpful reception staff

Cons:

The food was disgraceful. Only a very limited choice. The club sandwich was thin white bread from the 1960s and the filling meager and over cooked. The chips (French fries) were dry and flavorless. I found very little I wanted to eat.

I just wouldn't have expected anything that bad from "the Hilton'.
