Zona tranquila, próximo de transportes (várias opções), muito comércio à volta. Quarto pequeno, mas limpo, com WC privado, com o essencial.
Muitas escadas. Ficámos no último piso (sem elevador) e é realmente cansativo depois de um dia a andar kms pela cidade.
Great central location, short walk to Queensway or Bayswater stations. Close to M&S. Check-in is at the Phoenix Hotel nearby (which has aircon in the reception). We were able to store our luggage after checkout which was very helpful.
It was 30°C on the day we arrived and the room had no aircon and the window was restricted to less than 30cm. A desk fan was provided but this was woefully insufficient and even when the temperature dropped to 20°C outside, the room temperature did not decrease. The bathroom was compact and the automatic fan seemed to make the bathroom even hotter.
Fijne buurt. Dicht bij de metro. Lekkere eetgelegenheden.

C'est un hôtel que je connais, ainsi que le Phoenix. Prestations tout à fait correctes. Mieux que beaucoup d'hôtels similaire du quartier.
Alles bis auf die Fenster bei hohen Temperaturen wäre es schon aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage diese weiter zu öffnen als nur 10cm.
Die Öffnungsmöglichkeiten der Fenster bei hohen Temperaturen sehr wenig Luftaustausch möglich.

Good location, close to Kensington for our visit to the Chelsea Flower Show.
Reception staff member was rude and unhelpful. Our bags had been delivered by a delivery company and she claimed they hadn't arrived. (We're actually sitting in a storage space in reception).
We were also asked to our passports so they could be photocopied. When I asked why, the receptionist advised it was company policy. When I asked for the reason why it was company policy it was to confirm identity. I didn't provide the passport and simply showed my ID.
Not a welcoming experience.
Despite booking and paying months in advance we were on the top floor of the hotel, (81 stairs) with no elevator. Had to haul our bags up after a very long day walking.
The beds were hard and lumpy - most uncomfortable.

La ubicación es excelente, al lado del metro, el barrio lleno de restaurantes y supermercados. Se puede ir andando al barrio de Notting Hill y Kensington Gardens. La habitación bien equipada, todo limpio. Recomiendo el desayuno, se sirve en el hotel de al lado, que es donde está la recepción también, y se paga en el check out. Tipo buffet y a un precio razonable, y un café de máquina decente.
Lo único sería la ducha, el agua no tenía mucha presión y la alcachofa estaba un poco rota. Por lo demás todo bien

Very dirty, i asked for the room to be cleaned again but never happened. Bathroom incredibly dirty especially the toilet seat.
Bedsheets unchanged and stained bed.
Pillows were smelly.
They said they had no available staff to clean the room.
The hotel is in an excellent location. While the street where the hotel is situated is very quiet, the surrounding streets are buzzing with life, with cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, etc., so the area feels lively without the noise being bothersome. It is close to three stations, making it very easy to get around. (The photos are the view form my room).
The room itself was on the first floor and, unfortunately, there is no elevator. However, it was very lovely. It was a bit small, but perfectly acceptable for one person. There was some noise, as I could hear people in the next room talking, but never at hours that disturbed me. The bathroom was very nice and modern. The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless.
All in all, I would definitely stay there again.
Having to carry my very large suitcase up and down the stairs, but I suppose that can't be helped. I would defenatlly stay there again, despite that.
We had a lovely stay. The room was clean and well-furnished. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was inexpensive and plentiful. We would gladly come back next time.
The hotel is located in a quiet street, but within walking distance of the tube and Kensington Gardens. We stayed at the Phoenix Hotel, this changed was made by the hotel at our check in.
The room was too warm, as the heating was on in May. Neverthless the windows could be opened.
