The location of the place is amazing. The views to the ocean are mesmerizing.
Also, the feel of the room transports you to another era and it feels like being royalty.
The staff were very acommodating and we even got an upgrade to our room. Overall it was the best hotels we stayed at in our trip to Ireland
The Tower is not open to the public at all times there's a 6:00pm tour everyday but other than that, you can't visit it. Ot would be nice if guests could roam around the grounds
We absolutely loved to stay in the hotel.
The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.
Great tour to the castle tower close by.
Lovely restaurant, bar and the food is excellent.
Great experience throughout.
Tour of the castle was amazing. Loved the location.
The dinner was just ok but the breakfast was nice.
The views are incredible. You can see, starting from the left, the cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, and on the right, Connemara. Cecilia, Declan, April and Daniel are wonderful hosts. We love the small private bar as well. Absolute Jim of a location and place. Don’t miss the private castle tour each evening at 6:30 PM. Declan does an outstanding job.
There’s not much to not like, other than the fact that it is about a three mile drive that can’t be walked into downtown Doolin.
Die wunderbare Lage, ruhig und mit Blick auf die Cliffs of Moher. Informative Führung im Turm durch den Besitzer.
Leider gabs nicht mehr jedes Menu zum Abendessen, welche zuvor angekündigt wurden.
Our stay was amazing and the location and views were incredible. We even had a view of the Cliffs of Mojer from our room. The hotel itself was well kept, clean and had a bar and restaurant. Local pubs were only a few minutes drive away. We will definitely be back.
Nothing. We truly loved this place.
We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and so well looked after. The castle right beside the hotel was absolutely gorgeous and made the whole place feel even more special.
The staff were incredible—so friendly and welcoming—and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel was clean, quiet, and so peaceful. The sunset views were breathtaking, with stunning views of the Cliffs of Moher, the ocean, and the Aran Islands. We would definitely stay here again!
The charm and quality of the hotel - room, common areas, garden. Exceptional food. Fabulous location
Great breakfast
Cool landscape
Excellent location and very nice property.
Great location to the cliffs of Mohr and doolin cave, Doolin etc. the tour of the old castle was really interesting. The room was a little small for the money, some pumps and such going on and off all night, bathroom quite small. Had it been a clear day, I’m sure the view is stunning. We didn’t get to see it.
Room was small, wasn’t really castle like, more like an inn and the food was really overpriced.
The staff were welcoming and informative. We enjoyed talking with Declan and he gave a great tour of the castle.
There was nothing we didn't like.
View of the Cliffs of Moher
Castle on site
Everything felt especially heavy in an unusual summer heatwave
Great location and staff and fascinating history. Tour of the castle was very cool. The owners really made you feel welcome and helped with suggestions of what to do in the area. Food in the restaurant was outstanding. Bar area reminded us of a small pub. Room was great with very comfortable four poster bed. Highly recommend.
