This is a very sweet place, and has left me with satisfying memories.
Pros:

Location perfect for going to the theater. Hotel ambience very pleasing, room just right (safety features in bathtub particularly appreciated). Staff very helpful. Onsite parking appreciated, also access to parking through hotel.

Cons:

The procedures for breakfast were unclear, and the hot food was dried out. But at that price one really can’t complain; the fruit, oatmeal and toast were enough.

Gorgeous clean hotel within easy walking distance of theater and restaurants
Pros:

This historic hotel is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to stay in. The entire building was beautifully decorated in a natural history theme and everything looked like it had recently been painted. Our room had 2 Queen size beds and was super spacious and just a pleasure to stay in. Every minor detail was superbly decorated. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a small living area and a nice bathroom. The hotel is within easy walking distance of local restaurants and theaters, and Ashland is a super cute town. The hotel offers a low cost breakfast but we went out for brunch at Greenleaf (not too far away) and it was delicious.

Cons:

The bathroom was well maintained and beautiful, but I have two very tiny comments. I wish the shower head could be downgraded and the airflow upgraded. The tub is small. Having a large rain showerhead was nice, but meant there was little room to get out of the way of the water and it was a bit strong. The air circulation pushes cold air under the bathroom door, freezing your feet and making the door slam shut when you try to close it lightly. Watch out for fingers of little ones if staying here. But honestly, these are two such tiny quibbles and the room was sumptuous and a total pleasure to stay in. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful Property in a Great Location
Pros:

This is a beautiful property in the absolute bet location. Worth every penny. Surprisingly good air conditioning.

Cons:

The carpet in the hallway on our floor was covered in stains. But, that was literally the only flaw in the whole place and did not reflect in any way on the quality of our room.

The best place to stay with a historical personality.
Pros:

The ambience

Cons:

Signage for the breakfast room. The outside windows were dirty. Also there was a large spider hanging in a web, that we thought at first it was on the inside.

Great Ambience and a Perfect Location
Pros:

The hotel itself is very charming and the staff were most gracious and helpful from the front desk to the maintenance staff to the housekeeping staff. Its location is perfect with a number of restaurants within one block in either direction and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters only one block away. Gated parking was free and the rear entrance from the parking lot directly to the third floor elevator saved many steps.

Cons:

The elevator was quite slow even though it was only about 20 years old, but its character was beautifully integrated into the 1925 hotel original architecture. A standard breakfast was $5 for what you would expect to receive for free at most hotels. A microwave in the room would have been helpful.

We came for the Shakespeare Festival, and it was such an easy walk over!
Pros:

The breakfast was a real value! We did it 2 mornings.

Cons:

we had 3 to the room, and I missed not having a dresser to store clothes in. I just don't like living out of a suitcases

I will always stay at this incredible historic hotel when in Ashland!
Pros:

I LOVE this hotel! I love that it is historic, I love the renovations, with vintage seashells, etc. in old display cases. I love all the many framed plant pictures and my plant themed room. The second floor sitting area is so inviting and relaxing, with all the small tables and chairs overlooking the period style lobby, with old 20's style music softly playing. So wonderful! My room was small, but clean and comfortable. I love how iconic this hotel is (so easy to spot with its height!), and a short walk from the hotel to the OSF theatres and shops!

Cons:

The parking lot was completely full at times, making us resort to street parking, where are car wasn't as safe.
