I am writing to request an urgent refund for a duplicate charge on my recent hotel stay. This reservation was a prepayment. Booking.com successfully charged my card $400.30 (which reflects the total cost minus $17.77 in rewards).However, on July 28, 2026, the hotel charged my card again for $418.07. When I contacted the hotel directly to resolve this duplicate payment, their management informed me that the issue must be handled on your end due to how the prepayment and check-in billing were synchronized. I have already emailed all of my receipt information to you but have not yet received my refund. Attached, you will find both the Booking.com prepayment receipt and the hotel statement showing the double charge. Please review this case immediately and process the refund for the duplicate charge. Thank you,

Big comfy room. Great Location.
Pros:

My husband and I were traveling to Paso Robles for the Willie Nelson concert at the California Mid-State Fair. The location was literally a block away, so we could walk to it. Perfect. There was plenty of parking. The front office staff was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was large and comfortable. It conveniently had soaps, lotions, etc. Everything looked new and clean. Great blackout blinds.

Cons:

The hot breakfast could have been better. However, it was a nice surprise that they had Oatmeal packets without added sugary ingredients AND good raisins and chopped walnuts. Food I can actually eat. That doesn't happen that often. And, the breakfast staff was very accommodating. One little picky thing about the room: Don't jam the back-up roll of toilet paper behind the toilet paper roll. It makes the open toilet paper roll come off one-sheet-at-a-time unless you use both hands to hold the the extra roll back. Annoying. Oh. And the TV didn't work. But, we were there such a short time, we weren't inconvenienced that much.
