Cosy room
Pros:

Loved the cosy room and the seating. Great bathroom with lovely toiletries. The staff were lovely.

Cons:

The room I had was in a little mini corridor by itself which felt a bit isolated and creepy. The door handle kept rattling in the night which was disconcerting. Turns out it was staff doing a security round ( the corridor door closing caused a vacuum which in turn shook the room door) and not someone trying to get in.
Unfortunately the breakfast I ordered was missing some components which was disappointing.
Once again ( I've stayed here a couple of times) the restaurant was closed to guests in the evening for private functions which I did not know before booking.

Attractive comfortable small hotel, in quiet leafy square
Pros:

I stay here regularly. It’s in a leafy square off the main road, in a quiet part of the city where I like to stay and in a property full of character. The rooms have been recently refurbished to high standard. Bed and pillows comfortable. Nice touches in the rooms like biscuits, fruit and sherry (complimentary) and mini bar. Staff friendly and helpful.
Handy to have a car park (though payable) but unfortunately full this time.

Cons:

Nothing. It was all good.

Schönes Hotel
Pros:

Tolle Lage. Schöne Zimmer.

Cons:

Es war relativ lange sehr laut da eine Hochzeit stattfand und viele betrunkene Gäste im Hotel unterwegs waren. Leider keine Info darüber vorab.

Pros:

The friendlies of the staff.
The way they gave us a ground floor room when I explained I'd recently had surgery and would be on crutches and in a wheelchair.
Would definitely return if we were staying in Bristol.
The sherry in the room was a very nice touch.

Cons:

Nothing

Great location - but some points to be aware of .
Pros:

It was really nice hotel - close to wedding venue - we are attending
Close to everything we wanted.

Cons:

Cold weekend in may - no heating in the evening - towel rail off - when reported to reception , told it would be on after 9 because of seasonal timings.Never happened. Really noisy lift when reaching our floor when doors opening - unfortunately we were in one of the rooms really close to it.
