This was a fantastic stay in the heart of Bristol. We were only there one night, but were more than happy with the facilities and staff.
The elevator was a little bit finicky to use, particularly getting luggage in and out with the double door into the elevator area, but other than that, everything was great.
Property was amazing
Room was clean and comfortable. Grateful for a fan in the room as extremely hot.
The road was a bit noisy as we were at the front of the hotel.
Lovely hotel for the harbour festival, very clean rooms, nice staff and excellent location
Reception staff pleasant. Bathroom well designed and up to date. I appreciated the coffee/tea, biscuit and fruit. Location good. Not a hotel chain--very much felt like a boutique hotel.
I reserved a "cozy" room which didn't really have enough space for my things (carry on suitcase)--only 3 hangers, no drawer space, small bedside table instead of desk, no shelves in bathroom. And it was on the 3rd floor, which got a bit hot during the day. But everything was well designed, clean, and I appreciated the coffee/tea and biscuit. I think next time I will simply reserve a larger room and I will be more comfortable.
Location was very good. Love the old English conservation styled apartment. English buffet breakfast was very good too. They even gave us a welcome drink and fruits
Tap in the kitchen was loose. Found the apartment a bit dark. Have to climb stairs with luggages. No aircon
Location was brilliant; centrally located in a lovely Georgian square, just behind the Wills Memorial University building. An easy walk down the hill to the Cathedral and harbour, or a longer walk up the hill to Clifton. The Bathroom was quite good; small but modern, clean and functional. Towels were white and fluffy, and the bed, whilst only a double was clean and comfortable. The addition of a large floor fan was a nice (but essential) touch. Secure underground parking available a short distance away - but at extra cost, and not pre-bookable.
Our room on the 2/F was tiny, and the decor mis-matched and dated/old. The breakfast room was similarly in need of updating. Anything other than filter coffee - such as a flat white or a latte was an additional charge, which seemed petty. The quality of the breakfast was poor - a limited selection which appeared to consist of cheap ingredients looked unappetising. We opted to have breakfast at a local coffee shop on our second morning. Didn't try the restaurant as there was a private function.
Small comfy room, great location, good breakfast. Was able to use their lounge the following day to work so that was very helpful.
Nothing
Great experiencie, lovely rooms
We had a lovely stay during pride weekend. Thanks Chloe and Noah for the service
The room was clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed and excellent quality bedding, towels.
Noisy although I was in the ‘quiet’ section of the hotel. Parties going on outside my window until the wee hours and due to the high temperatures, impossible to even consider closing the window. A used bath towel was taken but not replaced with a fresh one.
Location
Unbearable heat in bedrooms, possibly the worst nights sleep ever. No aircon, window opened only 6 inches for “health and safety reasons”, the fan just blew hot air round the room. Avoid in the summer.
The weather was extremely hot during our stay so back of air con in the room made it impossible to sleep. The was a fan but that was VERY noisy
Small boutique hotel
Nothing
Friendly staff.
Shower. It didn't work very well. Hard to turn off. Overly complicated.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, easy to find (1st time in Bristol
