Relaxed, comfortable and very clean hotel with quirky touches eg wee decanter with sherry in room labelled,’Sip me!’. Breakfast menu good choice and food delicious. Hotel car park (charge for this) protected us from the roving traffic wardens round the Square!

Friendly and efficient staff, lovely decor in room, extremely comfortable bed, loved the offer of sherry although sadly I didn't have it as was out all evening :( Also didn't get to try the bar or breakfast but looking forward to doing so next time. Private secure parking very valuable bonus.

View out of window was limited and not great
The Berkeley did exceed my expectations - I had booked it just for a stopover, but it was really lovely. The location was perfect and I loved the garden square outside the front of the hotel, where you could relax in the sun. Breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable. The best things about the hotel were the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and the loose leaf tea and fresh coffee in the bedrooms! :)

Very very noisy. Loud music until late. Drum and bass noise thumping.
Nicely designed room that was indeed cosy! Lovely vintage decorations, and a gorgeous half-freestanding tub. Nice toiletries, good selection of tea, and the breakfast was really nice.
The room was very hot. Outside was only 16C so this wasn't simply a heatwave issue, the room itself was just very warm. A fan was provided, but this was a small cheap table fan as opposed to one that could really deal with the issue. Had an awful night's sleep. They did refund 30% but for the price I ended up paying with the refund, I could have just stayed somewhere with air con...
