A great downtown location for a getaway!
Pros:

Great location, wonderful staff, spacious quiet rooms and convenient parking.

Peaceful but somewhat overpriced.
Pros:

Quaint atmosphere . Laid back . Beautiful courtyard and very peaceful. Close to many restaurants and the water. Very nice atmosphere.

Cons:

Poor housekeeping. Small room . No closet . coffee pot etc in small room. No pool or exercise facility. Need to get suite if you want a little space.

Pros:

Hotel was adorable, great location and beautiful room. Beautiful courtyard restaurant and bar.

Cons:

The only improvement I would ask for is having a coffeemaker in the room.

The best place we stayed at on our Charleston, SC to Kitty Hawk trip.
Pros:

Location is perfect for walking to everything in the downtown area. Just a couple blocks and you are on the riverfront boardwalk. Sits right in the historic downtown. Very cool inner courtyard area with outdoor bar. Their on-site restaurant is as good as any you find in town.

Pros:

This was an unusual property with several unfriendly quirks. First is parking. It is done across the street in a third party lot. You have to go through a ridiculous procedure to register your car. The hotel should make this easier. Next the room. We stayed in room #35. The front door is 90% clear glass. In order to gain some privacy, you have to pull a drape completely across another glass panel and the door. In the room there is a money making minibar situation with snacks and yet no coffee machine and no access to coffee other than the adjacent restaurant when it is open. Also there is no ice machine. How can you not have an ice machine available for your guest? And why not have one of those automatic coffee machines in the 24-hour open lobby? Very disappointed in this hotel and will not be staying here in the future.
