A beautiful hotel located perfectly between the grand canal and the lagoon. It was easy to walk everywhere from here (10 min to St Marks Square, 20 min water taxi to the train station, 35 min shared private water taxi to Accademia stop). The front desk staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was a little pricey but delicious if you like a big breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and well-appointed.

Good location for what we were after. Clean and tidy and comfortable.

Ottima posizione. Ristorante con pochi piatti ma buono. Visita di una fornace a Murano con tragitto in taxi, tutto a carico dell’hotel.

Cons:

Non siamo stati fortunati con la stanza, che affacciava in una calle stretta. Mi hanno suggerito dei ristoranti, ho chiesto di prenotarne uno: arrivata lì ho scoperto che si erano poi dimenticati di dirmi che non avevano trovato posto… La colazione è migliorabile.

A very comfortable, convenient and courteous stay - we would love to stay here again.
Pros:

Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Attentive staff.
The room was larger than expected for a city centre hotel and very comfortable.
Perfectly situated for walking around Venice or for using the water transport.
The reception staff were endlessly helpful with advice, bookings and cheerful greetings.

Cons:

The only thing that would have marginally improved our stay would have been in-room facilities to make tea. The coffee machine was very good however.
