Schönes Hotel, enttäuschendes Frühstück
Pros:

Wir haben ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel verbracht und hatten insgesamt einen gemischten Eindruck.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind die sehr gute Lage und die geräumigen Zimmer. Unser Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich. Die Betten waren bequem und insgesamt haben wir uns dort wohlgefühlt. Auch das hoteleigene Parkhaus ist trotz der für Berlin typischen Enge gut nutzbar.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Servicepersonal. Alle Mitarbeitenden, mit denen wir direkten Kontakt hatten, waren ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Hier haben wir uns jederzeit willkommen gefühlt.

Unser Fazit: Das Hotel punktet mit seiner hervorragenden Lage, den großzügigen Zimmern und freundlichen Mitarbeitenden. Beim Frühstück, bei der Geräuschsituation auf den Fluren sowie bei einzelnen Ausstattungsdetails gibt es jedoch aus unserer Sicht deutlichen Verbesserungsbedarf. Für den insgesamt aufgerufenen Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet.

Cons:

Leider gab es auch einige Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt getrübt haben. An einem der Betten ragte seitlich ein Metallteil hervor, vermutlich eine beschädigte Feder oder ein anderes Bauteil. Leider bin ich daran mit dem Knie hängen geblieben und habe mich verletzt. Dies sollte aus Sicherheitsgründen überprüft und behoben werden.

Die Zimmer sind zudem etwas hellhörig. Morgens waren Gespräche und Aktivitäten auf dem Flur deutlich wahrnehmbar. Offenbar organisiert sich das Housekeeping-Team dort vor Arbeitsbeginn, wodurch zeitweise eine recht lebhafte Geräuschkulisse entstand. Die Flure wirkten dabei teilweise sehr voll, sodass man sich als Gast eher zwischen den Arbeitsabläufen hindurchbewegen musste. Ein freundlicher Gruß oder eine kurze Reaktion auf einen Gruß hätte die Situation angenehmer wirken lassen.

Am meisten enttäuscht hat uns jedoch das Frühstück. Uns ist bewusst, dass es an Wochenenden deutlich voller ist, dennoch erscheint die Organisation verbesserungswürdig. Das Buffet befindet sich in einem kleinen separaten Bereich, wodurch es schnell eng wird und man teilweise kaum an die Speisen herankommt.

Die Grundauswahl mit Brot, Brötchen, Wurst, Käse und weiteren Standardangeboten war vorhanden. Für den aufgerufenen Preis hätten wir jedoch deutlich mehr erwartet. Besondere Angebote wie Lachs, hochwertige Aufstriche oder ansprechend präsentierte Salate fehlten. Insgesamt wirkte das Frühstück eher lieblos zusammengestellt. Besonders enttäuschend war das Rührei, das offensichtlich nicht frisch zubereitet wurde. In dieser Preisklasse erwarten wir frische Eierspeisen. Am Samstag bestand die Möglichkeit, sich ein Omelett frisch zubereiten zu lassen, am Sonntag wurde dies jedoch nicht mehr angeboten.

Hinzu kam, dass die Küche am Samstag mit dem Nachfüllen der Speisen nicht hinterherkam. Mehrfach waren Produkte vergriffen und mussten erst nachgelegt werden.

Auch die Gestaltung des Frühstücksbereichs konnte uns nicht überzeugen.

Zmorgenbuffet sehr gross und gut, freundliches Personal

Cons:

Sehr schlechtes Bett, man hat die Federn stark gespürt, Bett hatte eine leichte Neigung nach unten (Füsse waren höher als der Kopf) - war definitiv nicht erholsam!

Berlin you were Brilliant!
Pros:

Brilliant location. Staff were fantastic and full of helpful tips on arrival including where to eat. Place spotless. Walking distance from tourist attractions and underground. Good value places to eat nearby. Safe walking around the area at night. Would definitely recommend the place.

Cons:

Best hotel stay I've had in a while, lived up to expectations. Felt completely safe as females travelling and arriving late at night.
