Bolton stadium
Pros:

Ease of location for football match

Cons:

No heating on in the corridors or the bedroom. Upon arrival it was cold and unwelcoming as we walked to our room and entered. It was like a walk in freezer. Radiator turned off and also a portable oil filled radiator in the room which was unplugged so shows the room must get cold. Also,bathroom was freezing and has no radiator in. Floors are cold and not nice to walk on barefoot , chilly when getting in and out of shower/bath. Stayed on the 1st floor and the noise throughout the night and early hours was shocking. Sounded like banging on metal. Turnstiles were below us and sunday morning was ridiculous for noise and being busy with people working or having some sort of function going on around the outer ground floor.

Hotel was perfect for what we needed
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is good if you are attending a football game at the stadium. The hotel has good food and drink options.

There is not a lot available to do in the local area other than the football stadium

It is close to my son who lives nearby.

Cons:

The new car park charges, the 3 day cleani g rule, getting our own amenities eg tea bags and milk there was none ! Reception no help was told to ask bar staff!!

A solid base to stay for proximity to a family event.

Cons:

Maybe a little tired in terms of furnishings and fittings. Could do with a spruce up and maybe a coffee machine, packet coffee and creamer only available.

The hotel is nice. Pleasant staff, nice food and big car park. BUT the noise during the night was the worst I have ever experienced ever. Lots of shouting at 1.30am and I think fighting in the corridor where our room was.

Pros:

My husband although a different team supporter is a football fan and loved the novelty of pitch side view. For us the bed was clean and comfortable and the room was fresh,we don't like an over heated room. There is a draught from the slide doors but the curtains shut that out. Ideal sleeping conditions.

Cons:

The shower head is fixed and that's not ideal if you're not wanting hair washed. The room is tired in decor which didn't affect our stay,just an observation. Not many sockets.

We liked the hotel room with the view and location was very good!

Cons:

The wedding and lights kept us up a lot of the night and also nect morning staff said ran out of biscuits when staying there another night! Felt he didn’t really care but when you spend a lot of money fresh tea and biscuits should be provided bith mornings
