La ubicación muy buena, a los taxistas les costo llegar pero si se puede por vehículo. El desayuno muy bueno, nos dieron una habitación muy pequeña, completa pero muy pequeña.

La posizione vicino alla moschea Blu, Santa Sophia e piazza hippodrome. La colazione cucinata dalle cuoche a vista, ottimi i dolci e le sfoglie salate. Lo staff eccezionale , l'ultimo giorno, dovendo noi partire molto presto, li abbiamo avvisati alla sera precedente del checkout alle 6 del mattino e loro ci hanno preparato i panini in sostituzione della colazione.
Location is center of Istanbul,, everything is just walking distance, amazing place, staff is very kind and nice, cleaniness is very good, we received everyday room service, breakfast was also good and blue mosque is just infront from roof top,

The location is awesome. You see the blue mosque when you step out. Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace, T1 tram station are at walkable distance. There are small stores and a huge bazaar within a few steps.
The hotel management tries to put you up in one of the 3 properties managed by them. Out of the 3( Hippodrome hotel, Hippodrome Apartments and Azaide Suits). The last 2 are not where you would want to end up after booking the place seeing the pics on booking.com. we had booked a suite with 2 interconnected rooms and they took us to the apartment a few steps away. It was a dilapidated place with cleaning brooms and mops tucked away between the rooms and withered and torn carpets. They told us the room which we booked was not available. When we refused to be put up in the apartment, they did damage control and within 15 minutes, we were allotted the booked room in the hotel. We saw the same happening to another family when we checked out and was waiting for the cab. That family questioned the management and threatened to complain about the wrong pics posted.
In the room, the AC panel was broken and coming off, the headrest of the bed was detached and the refrigerator wouldn't open. Do not go by the pictures posted.
Breakfast is arranged on a make shift terrace atop Azaide suits. It was very basic and was more of a home cooked spread rather than a restaurant breakfast, with the bare minimum.
Would definitely not recommend this hotel unless the only important criterion is the location.
We stayed for 12 days in the Hippodrome Hotel and we really enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was absolutely the best being a few minutes walking to all the sites in the old City especially, The Blue Mosque, Hajia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. The Tram was also 8 minutes walking away and it takes you to all the important places. The hotel staff were all exceptional in all their services and hospitality. By the end of our stay we felt like we were part of the family. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices and we enjoyed the amazing view of the Blue Mosque from one side and the Marmara sea from the other. All our request were accommodated and all the services including the cleaning was superb. Thank you to all the staff in the hotel especially to Meliksah and the team, Gigek for beautifully looking after our room, the lovely kitchen assistant who spoke to us in Arabic and always greeted us and looked after our family, all the breakfast staff who tirelessly kept us nourished and happy every morning, the Hotel Manager who was very accommodating and excellent in her management which reflected in the wonderful atmosphere of the place.
