Absolutely the best place to stay, rooms are so clean and hospitality is beyond most 5 star hotels, Robert at the front desk made sure to go out of his way to makes sure we had the best stay ever!

This was a very friendly atmosphere and Robert at the front seat was very hospitable and friendly. He was very welcoming every time we saw him. Overall the pools and room clean and the gym was full of plenty of workout equipment
An absolutly perfect stay Robert, the front desk clerk, did an excellent job thanking me for being a IHG member and treated me as if I were king. Though of course I'm not, he couldn't have been nicer. He checked in and made sure all was good than everytime I walked by he remembered me and addressed me as Jonathan. With good help being hard to find these days he deserves a raise.
Outdoor pool was nice!
It is completely ridiculous to pay for parking when you are 3 miles from downtown Steamboat and there is nothing of value within walking distance!
The front desk Robert was really friendly and made our stay more enjoyable. The gym and the pools are nice and the restaurant is a nice convenience
The outfit pool hours really wanted to relax and watch the stars
(2 nights mid-May 2026) This is a nice and well-run hotel with easy access to nearby walking trails, downtown, the mountain, groceries, the botanical gardens. We've stayed here many times over the decades, but this time was exceptionally nice. The property looks like it was recently updated. And Robert at the Front Desk is wonderful. Believe all the nice things you read about him. He's professional, efficient, listens carefully and yet is ever so nice and accommodating. Robert gave me a quiet room with balcony overlooking the slopes (opposite from the front entrance and highway) and it was perfect. I enjoyed the first night so much I extended my stay! Check-in is simple and quick, ditto checkout. I found the IHG way of doing business so noticeably better than the competition (the usual suspects) that I spent the rest of the three-week trip booking with Holiday Inn IHH when available. Thanks, Robert! Hope to get back to Steamboat again soon.

What really makes this place special is the staff. Especially Robert the man at the front desk in the afternoon. He is an amazing host!
He made us feel right at home from the second we walked in the door. We travel a lot and have never had an encounter like this before!
I had many hotels in Steamboat Springs to choose from but I went with this one because Robert was so friendly from the time I called for information about the hotel right through helping me complete our reservation.

There was an additional $12/day charge for parking.
Maid ignored the "do not disturb" sign and knocked on my door until I answered. I think she wanted me to sign a sheet but didn't have a pen. I can't be sure what she wanted as she didn't speak English. I was sleeping when she knocked and woke me up. I was confused. This really bothered me. The next day, they did not clean. I did not hang the "do not disturb" sign. Lastly, there was a dead roach outside my door for two days.
Clean,comfy bedding and quiet
Great experience for my birthday weekend in Steamboat. Indoor and Outdoor pool, Hot Tub and an actually decent weight room were great additions. Great Views! The Harison Restaurant breakfast options were quality as well! Will definitely be back for future trips

This is an older Holiday Inn that still has some really interesting aspects. I want a single out the front desk guy, Robert. He was awesome FUNNY warm and and a huge positive. Any hotel would be lucky to have him. Harrison’s the restaurant at the hotel was also cool!
Robert at the front desk offered great service. Harrison's was delicious for dinner. Although they were out of the mussels app, the chef made a special off-the-menu shrimp app for me that was amazing. Overall an excellent stay!
Robert was exceptional, he brought a box to my room that I couldn’t carry in one trip without me asking him and was very considerate, telling me whatever I need to let him know. Honestly never met such a nice person in general not even just at hotels.
This was the perfect place to begin our hot springs hopping adventure through Colorado. Location is peaceful but convenient, room was super clean and comfortable, parking is easy and close to your rooms and staff treats you like family ! Could not have been nicer. Would highly recommend and hope to return!
Comfortable and quiet hotel in a great location. Always good hot coffee available for free in the lobby, which I appreciate. The ice machines always work. There is a restaurant available if you need it. The staff are always very nice and there is a super cute dog sometimes during the day. I travel to Steamboat about every 5 weeks or so for work, and this is my go-to spot.
