Our stay at Hotel Hermitage Luzern was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth, impeccable service, and attention to every little detail. The setting is simply breathtaking—waking up to the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lucerne with the mountains surrounding you feels like stepping into a postcard.
The rooms are elegant, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views that make it hard to leave the balcony. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their professionalism and kindness truly set this hotel apart.
It combines luxury, tranquility, and Swiss hospitality in the most unforgettable way.
Thank you to the entire team for creating memories we'll cherish forever. We can't wait to return, and until then, this will remain the gold standard by which we judge every other hotel. Simply perfect!

Pros:

Die Lage ist traumhaft und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Busstation mit direkter Verbindung in die Innenstadt liegt direkt vor dem Hotel.
das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war enttäuschend und für den Preis ( 35 CFR ) nicht angemessen. Auch fanden wir die Getränkepreise an der Bar sehr ambitioniert.

Great introduction into the beauty of Lucerne and Switzerland as a whole.
Pros:

View was breathtaking! Facilities were lovely. Not overly opulent, but current and welcoming. Tasty hazelnut treat upon arrival. Fresh flavored water station in the lobby with apples for taking. Even dining in the restaurant was surprisingly good. Concierge/Customer Service (Ms. Mar) was fabulously helpful. Bus stop across the street was so convenient. Breakfast buffet provided a broad selection with a few local specialties. served in the lovely covered outdoor patio, overlooking the water. There was even more facilities that we didn't utilize. The Spa was a treat and included.

Cons:

Coffee machine attempted to provide something for everyone, but was a little temperamental. Such a small detail, hardly worth mentioning. Delicious (3rd wave) coffee could be found in downtown Lucerne.

We returned with high expectations and left deeply disappointed.
Cons:

We had stayed at this hotel before and had a wonderful experience, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, this time was completely different.

The room we received looked nothing like the one we had booked. Instead of trying to help, the manager, Jonas Debbabi, repeatedly told us that this was the only room available and that cancellation was not possible.

We were so unhappy that we wanted to leave and find another hotel that same night, but with a small child and a late arrival, we felt trapped. In the end, we had no choice but to stay and pay around $900 for the first night alone, even though the room we received was not the room we had booked.

Although we were eventually moved to a slightly better room, the manager’s dismissive attitude ruined the experience, and we chose not to stay for the second night.

I am also disappointed with Booking.com for allowing hotels to advertise rooms that do not accurately reflect what guests actually receive.
