Great hotel to enjoy Santa Barbara
Pros:

Lovely hotel that's clean and modern with welcoming staff (extra thanks to Jordan in the bar!) and great facilities. Plenty of parking, a nice pool area, and a little shop for essentials. The hotel isn't quite in the center of Santa Barbara, so expect a ten minute walk to restaurants. Room was spacious and bathroom was spotless.

Cons:

A common complaint for me in many hotels - why do the coffee sachets also come with a disposable plastic tray? Let's try to reduce single-use plastic!

I always stay here
Pros:

Great business-travel hotel with several reliable auto plug-ins, fast Wi-Fi, and a large desk work area. Lovely mid-century modern style that is popular now. Beautiful lobby, fun pool, jacuzzi, fire pits, indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant. Singles and families are around the pool area. Nice menu and beer selection on tap with friendly staff. Short 18-minute walk down State Street to the farmers' market and social scene.

Pros:

We had a one bedroom suite with a balcony. The rooms were very comfortable. Newly appointed but the balcony faced the back of an apartment building and alley. Awful! We really couldn’t enjoy the balcony. A big disappointment for the type of room we had.

Worthy of a stay
Pros:

Nice place, pool/hot tub maintained. Nice outdoor seating areas including couches in shade by pool and 3rd floor veranda. Couple things to tighten up: coffee supplies in lobby constantly low, front desk staff appeared inexperienced, had to rekey my room card 4 times. Great location.

Clean, good pool but our room wasn’t worth the price.

Cons:

Renovations on our floor in the hallway were a little bit of a surprise/undisclosed and made the quality of the hotel less than what we paid (seemingly top dollar during peak season). We also got a room that faced right into a smoke break area of another business and it was a bit odd.

Great State Street Hotel
Pros:

Amazing hotel right on state street. Such great service and comfortable rooms. I loved the restaurant Saint Remy. They had nice cocktails right on the pool deck and yummy food.

Cons:

Pool bar food had no vegetarian meal available. The only thing billed as a vegetarian meal turned out to be a pile of arugala with a tiny bit of grain mixed in. In the 21st century!

Great stay in Santa Barbara!
Pros:

We were here for 2 nights, our first visit to Santa Barbara. We came primarily to explore the urban wine trail. The location was great—quiet, easy to get around on foot or via Uber. Our room was spacious, nicely appointed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I needed help printing our boarding passes. Thanks for a great stay!

My favorite hotel in Santa Barbara
Pros:

The hotel was conveniently located close to both the beach and the main downtown area. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything my family and I needed for a pleasant stay during graduation weekend. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.
