Beautiful hotel. Swimming pool a bonus. Warm friendly welcome with a comfortable ambience. Restaurant very good, food beautifully presented.

The hotel itself was nice, the room was clean, and the food was good. Unfortunately, the way the staff handled a major issue completely ruined our stay.
We specifically booked this hotel because it advertised air conditioning, but when we arrived during a huge heatwave, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working. We were travelling with a senior citizen, so this wasn't a minor inconvenience, it was essential.
Instead of trying to help, the staff were extremely rude and told us we had just 30 minutes to decide whether we wanted to keep the room or leave. With no realistic alternative at such short notice, we felt we had no choice but to stay.
It's a real shame because the hotel itself has a lot going for it, but the complete lack of empathy and poor customer service overshadowed everything else. I would not stay here again or recommend it based on how we were treated.
Tolle Anlage mit Garten, Pool, Parkplatz. Schönes Zimmer mit riesigem Bad. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück schon ab 7.00.
Abendessen à la carte war ok. Schade, dass drinnen gegessen werden musste.

Veey well located and for a 3 star hotel was very good. Appeared to be better than equivelant starred hotels. Local friends suggested and we are pleased they did.

Main bedroom was good, hotel very expensively decorated.

Breakfast was expensive and awful.
The only hot food was soggy scrambled egg every day, but there was plenty of cake, oh, plenty of cake, everywhere!
There was a cheese platter that didn't change for three days,and some cereal. And a plate of pineapple that didn't look like it had seen a refrigerator at all.
For the money we paid for a Superior Queen Room, I did not expect to be watched in the bathroom by anyone either on the raised terrace or the other room balconies. This meant I could not have the window open at all. And no extractor fan meant a very steamy room after any hot water was run.
The bathroom only had a corner bath, (no shower - which was very disappointing) the safety in the room was non-existent. NO grip mat or hand grab. In a slippery deep fibreglass bath, i found getting in and out extremely dangerous. I could only wash down for the three days there. At that cost I expected much much more. And on the same note,
PAPER CUPS in the bathroom....really?!
Finally, we were charged €10 for a whisky drink plus €4.50 for a bottle of cola. Extortionate!
Es war unser 2.Besuch im Beauséjour: Super Parking in Hotelanlage; herzlicher Empfang, komfortable total ruhige Junior-Suite 301, feines Frühstück und Nachtessen; schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool und Aussicht auf Berge und Kathedrale. Wegstrecke 25 Minuten zu Kathedrale/Grotte, mit OeV-Möglichkeit Bus vor Hotel.

Mooie lokatie en superschone en ruime kamer. Mooi terras aan de achterkant met zwembad.
