- chambre non rénovée

Friendly and welcoming!
Pros:

The receptionist Desiree made me so welcome from the moment I arrived. She gave me some great tips on things to do and where to eat. She told me the moment my room was ready and I was able to get settled in straight away. The room was comfortable and clean and in a great location close to Stanley Park and some excellent restaurants. If I’m ever in Vancouver again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future.

I have really felt welcomed when I arrived at the Hotel. I was given all the informations required and optimistic about my night in staying at the Opportune Hotel. I felt safe while parking my car. And, I had a great sleep.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are so friendly, both front desk and housekeeping. Our room was.clean, but worn. The hotel is doing renovation at the moment so that may change soon-ish. It was nice that there is a kitchen, and we had breakfast here every morning. There is a stove, but they charge you extra to use it, so we did not.

When I booked the room, it was written that it was a high floor, but it was the fourth. And then, when we entered the room, it turned out that there were cockroaches there and they changed us to the third floor and the view from the window was on the street wall (( The cleanliness of the hotel leaves much to be desired and the towels were terribly stained.
