Check in. States from 3pm. Room was not ready. Several people checked in after and got their keys straight away. We kept being told 5 more mins. Left sitting almost an hour in the reception awaiting the key with no update

Very run down hotel, room was hotter than a furnace and no air conditioning. Tiny bed that was barely big enough for two people.

Hadde ikke lest omtaler før bestilling, og hotellet var veldig gammelt og slitt. Forferdelig trapper opp til 3.etasje. H

Fin beliggenhet. Vennlig personalet, fikk en halvvarm vannflaske ved innsjekk.

Cons:

Det var veldig gammelt og slitt. Luktet forferdelig av gulvteppet. Vinduet på badet var helt oppråtnet og man kunne stikke fingeren gjennom karmen og glassruten. Dusjen var ikke regulerbar slik at den måtte spyle inn i veggen ellers fikk man strålen rett i ansiktet.
Det var ikke AC, og i over 30 varmegrader ble det rene badstuen. De hadde to vifter men hjalp lite.
Sengen var veldig hard.

Whilst the staff were friendly and the entrance looked lovely with air conditioning, the room was the complete opposite

The close proximity to the underground

Cons:

The room was very dated with peeling wallpaper, rotten wood frames and dust and cobwebs on the wall and ceiling. The taps in the bathroom sink also leaked and looked grubby and old. The tea and coffee facilities would have been fine if the water in the taps was drinkable. To arrive after a long journey to discover that we had to go out to buy water before we could have a drink was not the best. For the price I paid I was expecting a lot better than this!

Short stay at Central London
Pros:

The location of the hotel is very good with tube stations (Bayswater and Queensway), departmental stores (Saintsbury and Tesco), Foreign exchange and many eating places (Indian, Chinese, Italian, English breakfast and ice cream parlour) near by
