Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

In the first room we stayed in there was a humming sound like a fan outside which persisted all night
We were not aware that the hotel is for shomeri shabbat guests. This caused us to not be able to get an evening meal (we needed to have made that reservation on a Wednesday and we checked in on Friday) and we had to make special arrangements with the non-Jewish staff in order to have some kind of breakfast (that was included in the price) on Saturday morning. Had we known that this was the case, we would have stayed at a different hotel. We chose this Prima hotel based on a very good experience in Prima Raanana and were very disappointed to find that we had to sneak around and be furtive to get any breakfast at all. The other guests made do with water and cakes. Thank goodness that we spoke to the non-Jewish staff on Friday night and made an arrangement but they too were very paranoid less some "mashkiahch" would see them giving us food. We were the only diners in the dining room at 900 am on Shabbat morning and we had to hide behind a pillar and eat quickly and furtively to have any breakfast. The only reason we didn't complain is that the staff helped us reaizing our predictament.

The hotel was very central.
I go there whenever I am in Jerusalem. I liked the private open air patio for a first floor room.
Nothing to dislike. I was sad that guests took too much food from the delicious buffet and left food because they took too much. The food was excellent
Had the most amazing rest at night because the mattresses felt like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast was very tasty.

קיבלנו חדר מול המדרגות והמעלית. מצורפות תמונות.
מדובר על מעלית שבת שכל כמה דקות משמיעה קול צורם של סגירת הדלת.
לא יכולנו לישון כמעט בכלל.
כשפנינו לקבלה למחרת וגם במוצש הם הזכירו לנו שסגרנו דרך בוקינג במחיר יותר זול, אז למה אתם מצפים? פשוט היה לא אפשרי לישון שם חוץ מהרעש שהאורחים עושים כשיוצאים מהמעלית ועולים במדרגות.
