Great location and good room size

The hotel is in a great location and has a good price point - it was about half the price of the Rex which just on the other side of the block. It's a little dated but the room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, the fridge was actually a fridge, and the breakfast was fantastic. It was easy to walk to most of the major sightseeing attractions, if you like a hop on hop off bus, one is right outside the door, the Saigon Centre is about 5 minutes walk away for everything you could need to re-stock or if you love shopping or just want a break from the heat. The pool area is older and a bit small but it was tucked away in the back of the hotel surrounded by greenery which was a really lovely respite from the city. The spa is fine, it's location right near the pool isn't ideal especially if the pool is filled with a noisy school group - I felt very sorry for the spa people!! The front desk staff were very accommodating in storing luggage and you could have a swim and a shower before heading off the airport. A great little hotel!
Probably the seating area around the pool but there's not much they can do about that. And the noise from the pool if you are having a spa treatment. You also couldn't charge the spa treatment to your room. But neither of these things are huge. The only real issue was their plumbing! There was a letter in the room upon arrival apologising for unspecified 'issues' and it was true that when taking a shower (which was over the bath), the water took a VERY long time to drain. But other than that, everything worked, the water was hot, the toilet flushed so happy days!!
The service from the staffs are excellent but the problem is the towels are not so new.
Hotel service was superb. Our family enjoyed the great hospitality, especially the breakfast buffet. Staff was very attentive to our needs.
