A special hotel in Saigon
Pros:

This is a beautiful, luxury hotel at an incredibly reasonable price. The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast is fabulous. We changed our mind on the twin room we'd booked and were given a great price on an upgrade to a suite. Get a river view room if you can (or just go sit in the roof top bar) - watching the river and the street at night is so wonderful! The location and the facilities and the pool at the hotel are fab. Best staff in the world!

Pleasant but not overwhelmingly impressive as expected.
Pros:

Large clean rooms, turn down service, large lifts, foyer impressive, pool area gorgeous

Cons:

Current construction on river should have been communicated (can’t see river), breakfast goods not overly fresh - some food seemed like it had been repurposed? View of construction site (did book city view but pretty ordinary)- couldn’t use balcony.

We enjoyed it and we will be back.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, the room was palatial, the staff were wonderful and we loved everything about the Majestic. The downtown location near the river was scenic, but I do prefer the top end of Dong Khoi for better access to restaurants and things to do.

Cons:

Hard to say, it was really lovely there.

We really enjoyed our stay
Pros:

One of the best buffet breakfast we have ever had… the pho was exceptional. As in most places in Vietnam the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful
