Le Petit Pali Brentwood

I recently stayed at Le Petit Pali Brentwood during a long layover after a work trip to the West Coast. I had heard wonderful things about this unique boutique property, so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to experience it for myself as I considered it for an upcoming family trip with my husband and our 5-year-old.

From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. I was greeted by the kindest gentleman at check-in, who took the time to give me a thoughtful overview of the property before personally showing me to my room. It was such a warm and welcoming introduction that immediately made me feel at home. After settling in, I had a few additional questions, and they were answered promptly and graciously by the staff.

I stayed in the Deluxe King Room, which was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The charming décor struck the perfect balance between cozy and sophisticated, and the luxurious amenities made the stay feel extra special.

What truly elevated the experience were the thoughtful little touches. In the evening, I returned to find a delicious chocolate chip cookie waiting on my bedside table—a simple gesture that felt so personal and inviting. The next morning, I was delighted to discover the most charming basket filled with breakfast treats, making for such a memorable start to the day.

Every interaction with the staff was warm, attentive, and genuine, and it was clear that hospitality is at the heart of everything they do. It's rare to find a property that combines beautiful accommodations with such personalized service, but Le Petit Pali Brentwood does exactly that.

I enjoyed every moment of my stay and left feeling even more excited about the possibility of returning with my family. I truly hope to be back soon, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this special property to anyone looking for a relaxing, thoughtfully curated boutique hotel experience.

Room A/C:
Part of this was our own mistake—we should have requested a room change sooner when we noticed the A/C wasn't cooling properly. By the third day, it completely stopped working. Since we were traveling with a baby, this became a serious issue. We weren't moved to a new room until the fourth day, and we checked out on the fifth day.

What disappointed me was that when the A/C failed, we weren't offered a new room immediately. Instead, maintenance brought in a ladder and cleaned years' worth of dust from inside the unit while all of our belongings were still in the room. The room became covered in dust, creating a huge mess.

Room Service / Housekeeping:
Housekeeping appeared to be understaffed. We left our room around 9:00 AM, but it still hadn't been cleaned by 4:00 PM. Since we had a baby, we ended up waiting outside in nearly 100°F weather until the room was ready.

Baby Products:
Because of the A/C issue, our room became very hot, and several baby products that should have been kept at room temperature were affected. They were also covered with dust because the A/C was cleaned while all of our belongings remained in the room.

Cleanliness:
The room itself was acceptable, I honestly questioned how the towels were being washed. It didn't appear very clean.

Staff:
The staff were polite, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. However, I didn't feel much urgency or genuine concern when problems came up. They were courteous, but not particularly proactive in resolving issues.

Capital One Travel Users:
I'm not sure if this issue has been fixed, but during my stay I paid extra because the room listing advertised a patio and additional features. Unfortunately, none of those features were included. The room was also described as having a courtyard view, but it actually overlooked the parking lot. That was very disappointing. If you're booking through Capital One Travel, I'd recommend confirming the room details directly with the hotel before paying for an upgraded room.

Overall:
I was honestly surprised to see this hotel ranked #1 on Tripadvisor based on my experience. While the location is great and the staff are friendly, the issues we encountered made the stay feel far below the price we paid. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to stay here again at this price point.

Had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Pali. We were welcomed by Baylor and he was absolutely amazing! His service was beyond. The hotel was very clean and cute. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Lovely and unique place to stay and they made us feel like royalty. Our family rented several rooms for a wedding stay and it was a home away from home. The staff was amazing and made us feel special with great smiles, complimentary breakfast in picnic baskets each morning and hospitality that is unmatched. The rooms were fun, clean and had all we needed. Highly recommended!

Le Petit Pali is beautifully designed and has a charming, boutique atmosphere. The outdoor space is attractive and inviting. The property is also within about a 15-minute walk of several good restaurants, and we enjoyed walking to dinner one evening. Overall, it's a good option for a short stay.

Great location, very clean, and the breakfast delivery was excellent. The shower had amazing water pressure and was one of the best parts of our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at Petit Pali Brentwood and it was such a charming boutique hotel in a fabulous location — it really stood out in the best way.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, cozy, and very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful details that make the stay feel special. Service was excellent as well — the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything in the area, which was super helpful.

We especially loved the little touches that make this place feel personal — fresh cookies baked each evening, and a lovely breakfast delivered to your door in the morning (you choose it the night before). It feels much more luxurious and personalized than the big hotel chains.

We had stayed at Palihouse in West Hollywood (part of the same brand) and loved that experience as well, so this stay felt very consistent with that same quality. Definitely planning to come back soon for a longer stay!

The exceptionally exquisite taste and charm of the facility. The friendliness of the staff is over and beyond. The cleanliness and fresh smells everywhere. The location is superb. Maticulous attention to the finest detail. This place is a gem.
