Our room was quiet.
We had a bit of bad luck with our room (no. 509). We had booked a kingsize standard-room for six nights. It was quite expensive (even for London) and we have been a bit disappointed - certainly not the best room in the hotel.
Staff was very friendly, but again some bad luck in the breakfast room. No warm welcome there, so we cancelled our hotel breakfast for the rest of our stay.
Great atmosphere, feels personal and comfortable
Room quality varies massively. Some studios are amazing, other are very mediocre. Bit of a lottery to hat you get.

The rooms are beautiful and the overall atmosphere top notch.
We found the rooms a bit dark, so having an extra floor lamp behind the sitting chair in the room would be ideal especially at night once the curtains are closed.

My room was a bit awkward. It was difficult to maneuver room service tray in and out the door. I dare you to try. And room food was not as good as I'd hoped.

We loved The Dalloway Terrace Restaurant and friendly staff. Excellent communication with the hotel staff prior to arrival. We were gifted some sweets and some champagne on arrival for our 40th wedding anniversary. A much appreciated treat
The high price reflects the great location .
The room was smaller than expected and the view of the of the theater back wall was disappointing. I wondered if I got a less desirable room because I did not book directly with the hotel?
The dark alley (we arrived at night) was a bit off putting and the sign that said Bloomsbury Hotel was not lit so we were a bit uncomfortable as we walked the 100 feet to the side entrance.
Food prices are sky high in London so be prepared for sticker shock.
